I would recommend just hanging out in the forums and letting people get to know you. Yes, this is a dating site but most of the people I know of that met and are together have met in the forums. "Faithful, kind, nice etc. are nice but everyone wants that. What they can't find out is who you really are.

p.s. Civil war buffs would definitely show some interest which actually some women are, believe it or not. Aren't you where the Battle of Bull Run was?
