That last part I've wondered also. It is true even when people are still together. We're polite to complete strangers and mad at the ones we love. I use the word 'mad' but the reality is usually worse. Words, actions.
The only time I've ever wanted to speed up time is after a breakup. I couldn't of course but the healing always happened faster than I thought it would. So just give it some time and the move is a good thing. JMO.
