RE: What do you notice first on a profile?

I can't remember the last time I looked at a profile...what is on them?

RE: The Biggest Mistake you can make is...

That was the point the OP made, you can protest on behalf of someone who doesn't know you, or ever heard of you, but as to what action you can take is a mystery to me.

By creating a culture of 3rd party apologists, people are left wide open to those who know how to exploit that weakness, that willingness to be an identitarian.

The whole Syrian bombing was caused by a White Helmet shouting 'Gas, gas'. The reality was that the 'gas victims' were people sheltering from an artillery exercise. The 'gas' was dust that caused hypoxia, a lack of oxygen. This has been confirmed by the doctors and journalists who treated them.

What happened? Public opinion was swayed by the publication of photo's of children having dust washed out of their hair, with the caption 'Victims of nerve gas attack'. It works every time.

RE: Indoctrination

There is indocrination, and sublime indoctrination.

The former is easily identifiable. Religion, New headlines, Party Political Broadcasts etc.

The latter is rather more subtle, it is how advertising works. The brain is constantly in a state whereby the individual is attuned to looking for anything dangerous, we look at a passing car, and we see that car, and we act upon seeing the car.

However, in the peripheral vision are a thousand other things that we do not identify as a danger, we are not aware that we have looked at them, or heard them, as we can only process one piece of information at a time.

Sublime indoctrination works by placing triggers in the background, or in an environment where the viewer does not acknowledge that they are even there. The receptors in the brain process these triggers via the subconscious, and the message is implanted without the viewer being aware of it.

A word can be slipped into a sentence, but the listener won't hear it as it was not a part of what they logically expected to hear, that word can be used later to influence a decision making process.

RE: I want to start a family

I use jump leads to start the car, perhaps they will do the same for a family.

RE: Being Single...............!!

Romance plays a very poor second to money and looks nowadays. In this age when our entire future is decided on the merits of a photo on a webpage, there is little that anyone can do to change that, even if they wanted to.

RE: can you be a muslim and british?

Anyone can be a muslim, there is no legal definition of what it takes to be one, same with any religion. I can become a muslim in 30 seconds by simply saying 'I am a muslim'. Easy to do. I don't need to do anything else at all. I could also say 'I am a giraffe', as I self identify as one.

All of these labels are self applied, no one else has to recognise them, and no one can stop anyone applying one to themselves.

I just take the view that if something happened and all female fertility stopped today, then in 100 years time there would only be around 20 humans left on the entire planet, in different countries and with no means of travelling or communicating with each other. All beliefs, all opinions, all books, and all of history would vanish when the last human died. Yes, the entire human race, no matter how important we think we are, would vanish in 100 years.

Nothing at all is important. Nothing.

RE: Dear Abby: Man uses security cameras to spy on stay-at-home wife

Ten years ago I was in bed with my then girlfriend, just before we commenced play I saw her fiddling with her phone. I asked her what on earth she was doing, and she quite unashamedly informed me that she was recording our lovemaking so that she could play it back to her friends in work, apparently they all did it and compared notes!!

RE: What's your favorite Beatle song?

I was in my first year at Junior School, a girl was a wearing a Fab 4 badge. I will never forget the teacher's immortal words "I don't know why you are wearing that, they are like all of these other pop groups, next year everyone will have forgotten who they were".

Best memory was Get Back performed at the Rooftop concert before they split up.
John and George were the best by a country mile afterwards.

RE: Tilted Heads

It's caused by a combination of being on the phone while trying on new shoes so often. Their mothers told them that they would stay that way one day, but of course, they never listened...

RE: New Famous Person Beginning With The Last Letter of the Previous One

Rita Hayworth (Actress)

RE: On the game

Believe this or not, but its true, donkeys years ago I was chatting to a girl on a dating site from Manchester. I have no idea how the conversation went the way it did, but she ended up sending me the usual naughty pics, which were ok, and then said that she wanted to visit me.

Over the days/weeks she started talking about what it would be like to earn money on 'the game', and then suggested that when she came to visit she could try out street walking to see what happened!!

Blooming heck, I was out of there as quick as a flash!

RE: If you had a boat what would you name it?

Bow here.

RE: What is your idea of heaven?

Yes that's it, that's my idea of heaven...well as long as they are all female anyway!

RE: The future

I don't plan, I do, if I am busy doing, then I don't need any plans.

RE: Who is the Shyest CS Member

It's me, I win.

RE: If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

I would spend my extra time wondering why I was an insomniac.

RE: Antibiotics

Methotrexate?
If it was you should have been told about the risks. Pharmacists used to go as white as a sheet when I handed the prescription over, and I got fed up with listening to the dire warnings when I collected it. I half expected them to be wearing a hazmat suit. It is apparently the most dangerous drug that a doctor can prescribe, and yes, it can wreck your kidneys, hence regular blood tests. It wasn't invented for arthritis, it is a chemotherapy drug used to treat cancer. A side effect of the drug is what helps with arthritis.

I stopped taking it, it was only later at my next check up that the x-rays showed that my body had somehow repaired all of joints and the arthritis was gone. I told the consultant that it was probably due to my strict diet regime.

What's that he asked, all wide eyed.

Pizza's and microwave meals, and no fruit or veg I told him. lol

Remember the old saying:
"It is not in the interests of the pharmaceutical industry to cure anyone of anything."

RE: So, you're all very quiet following

Putin and Russia must have the patience of a saint. I have never known so many countries throw so much mud at a country. None of it sticks, and no one believes any of the accusations, mainly because they aren't true, lol.
What kind of logic decides that NATO can break its own promise, amass troops along the Russian border, and then claim that this is to protect the west from a threat? What threat? He hasn't done anything?? Imagine if Russia did that along the Alaska border?
Putin went into Syria at the request of the legitimate head of state, and wiped out a plague that no one else was prepared to tackle (mainly because they were the ones arming them and using them to bring about a regime change).
The US has invaded the country at no one's request, and set up shop there?
The Russians have been accused of interfering in every election on the planet, and yet, not only would this be impossible to achieve, it quite simply didn't happen.
The west is financially bankrupt, they all know it, the debt is way beyond repayable, the only way to mask it is to start WW3, and bury it.

RE: Why do women always expect the guy to travel to them and or pay.

What about those of us who self identify as Elves. Who does the travelling then? I mean, us Elves have only got little legs, so not only can we not walk very far, but we can't do our own ironing, and reaching the kitchen sink is out of the question. And another thing, buying the drinks is a nightmare, have you ever tried ordering a Jack Daniels and Coke when all that the barmaid can see is the tip of a pointy hat?

What do people do with...

As soon as bad weather is forecast, all of the shops sell out of bread. Does anyone know what all of these people do with all of this bread, and why they leave everything else on the shelves, but empty the one with bread on it?

RE: Do you believe President Trump will finish his term in office?

It doesn't matter who anyone votes for, or what anyone says during an election campaign. Once they take office they are taken into a dark room, told to sit down, and it is then explained to them that 'this' is how it is, and 'this' is what you will do.
Elections in all countries are a choice between Cholera and the Plague, same faces, different masks.

RE: How many social media /networks are you currently on?

There is a cull going on, and it is only those voices that exercise a right to free speech that are being censored. Respectable journalists who broadcast radio shows on YT have been told that asking probing questions of those interviewed is bullying, and their channels have vanished. Twitter, YT, and Google are doing it, and it is horrendous. We will be left with one opinion, one view, and no dissent will be allowed. These are dangerous times.

RE: What happens when we run out of trees and carbon energy ? And/or clean water?

In the UK tap water is recycled perpetually, so it won't run out. Trees can be grown anytime, anywhere, so it's highly unlikely that we will run out of them. The amount of water on the planet is constant, it either evaporates and falls as rain, or flows around on the ground. The only thing that affects the supply is the volume of creatures consuming it. Cows are a huge consumer, around 150bn on the planet, it takes around 6 gallons to make a burger, or something like that I seem to recall. Add their methane output, and bingo, the atmosphere changes.

RE: Elon Musk: Do you think South African born, USA educated will be the first to colonize Mars?

Back at the start of WW2 a book was published by Werner Von Braun, it was called Project Mars. The book described the Martian Government, the name of the President was Elon.

RE: What type of residence would u prefer (within or outside ur budget)

Just a place on a hillside, overlooking a huge lake. As long as it was peaceful and quiet, and had internet access, was warm in winter and cool in summer, I would be happy.

RE: Low Self Esteem

It's going to be a vicious circle isn't it? Feel less good about yourself, stay home, stop socialising, eat more, no exercise, become sedentary, the weight goes on, you end up becoming fat, the cycle continues, and the fat just increases as it is not getting burnt off.

It isn't just the diet that needs to change, his lifestyle will have to include exercise as well. Even people who don't get much exercise can still be slim, they just need to limit their food intake to match how they live.
