I have been in similar situations like you and best thing you can do is ignore these people, do not talk to them, do not answer to them, do not communicate with them.Do not complicate your life thinking why they do this or that, why they talk nasty things about me, why they make me feel bad- that is how they want you to feel - bad. It just does not worth it. You are way above them, because you are comfortable in your own skin, they are not, you are a happy and confident person, they just are NOT.
