RE: struggling

Yeah, a bit. "I'd like my kitchen to be painted in a lovely placenta."

RE: struggling

It's a color, L4m.

RE: Where do u still want to travel to and by which form ?

I quite fancy driving a Tuk Tuk across Mongolia. I can find no good reason to want to do this other than whimsy

RE: Should CS Have Thread Limits?

Perhaps we just need to hang out in better/worse toilets.

RE: Should CS Have Thread Limits?

There seems to be a larger contingent of religious nutjobs, the politically ill-informed, the self absorbed, the asinine...than I recall from previous years. That may indeed be looking back with rose colored glasses, as Molly suggested.

It doesn't keep me up at night, but this time around I don't participate as much.

Keep fighting the good fight.

Firstly, I didn't suggest I had substance, character or wit, although I think you make a fair request, and I agree, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

RE: Should CS Have Thread Limits?

CS used to have more substance, character and wit than it does currently.

RE: Learning To Play A Bango

Not Banjo, but guitar, which I guess isn't the same but kind of, in that it's a similar learning process, I think. The initial stages can be slow going, but once you have the basic chord shapes and basic picking down, progress can be quite fast. You've just got to persevere for the first few months and put in some solid hours, then you'll be able to start to enjoy actually playing songs which is really fulfilling.

Playing music is one of those things in life, I've found, the rewards come in direct proportion to the amount of effort put into it. Be strict with a minimum of 30 minutes a day practice (no excuses!!) and you'll be up and going in a few months. That was my experience.

I'm excited for you. You'll have so much fun.

RE: U have the chance to Judge the members on this website from 1 to 5. Take a break and Enjoy ?

Have you heard of people saying they love dogs because dogs don't judge. Be more like dogs.

RE: What would be the most terrifying time of your life

Try again.

RE: What would be the most terrifying time of your life

I have a greater understanding of PTSD (albeit at the lower end), however my experience pales into insignificance compared to what others had to contend with.

These buildings surrounded my guesthouse. 12 people died in the second pic less than thirty meters from where I stayed. There are other pics but they've posted huge so I won't annoy everyone with any others.

RE: What would be the most terrifying time of your life

In Nepal on April 25th, 2015, an 8.2m earthquake hit the country killing almost 10 000 people and injuring 22 000. I'd just arrived in Kathmandu two days prior planning to head west to Pokhara. It was a devastating natural disaster for Nepal and its people, as well as a very scary event for those of us who lived through it.

RE: "You Make Me Want To Be a Better Man"

You may want to lower your expectations in the future. CS men aren't renowned for heart melting.

Now get in the van!!

RE: Dream Location?!

Lets just say passports, visa applications/renewals and travel are regular parts of my life, and I spend a lot of time on beaches.

RE: Dream Location?!

I'd live perpetually on the move.

RE: opinions of me......whats yours?

Conversation is the exchange of opinion, news or ideas between two or more people. Attention seeking is a one way street devised to service the individual's lack of self esteem or sense of self worth.

Any attention is good attention, right?
