RE: Gut feelings.....

And the irony of our support for Ukraine is a Britain doing everything it can to become like Yeltsin's Russia. A mafia run cesspit of incompetence and if we beat the dark forces invading Ukraine those same forces will become us. We can hear the sound of jackboots marching to the Putin within, and our Yeltsins are powerless in the face of it.

RE: Gut feelings.....

Time changes everything. Where once we went out on stormed tossed seas to civilise the world the world now comes to our land of utterly ignorant, savage people with no protection absolutely nothing.

RE: Gut feelings.....

The difference between the English and the Irish is that the English have become more like Gollum, but Gollum was once a Hobbit like the Irish still are. The Irish are as civilised as the British were in 2003, they are the way we were before the fall.

RE: Gut feelings.....

Yes. And we're alike when we are at home, too, the big difference is that Britain attracts the third world where the Irish get the kiss me im Irish dividend. We get the third world and Ireland gets a free lunch because they used to be the white ni**ger. Globalism is a lot kinder to Ireland, but the actual English and Irish not very different.

RE: Gut feelings.....

Ireland is much safer than here. Like we would be if wasn't for London attracting the whole world to our shores. The Irish are a people only relatively wealthy people care about for not quite being classed as white before. There's a lot money there with none of the diseases and crime.

RE: Is it possible to Love somebody but not RESPECT him/her?

I think the key difference is that respect will invariably have you live longer, but love will have you die younger. A man would live longer and more respectfully as a voluntarily celibate male eunuch, and women would live longer if they never had children. It isn't respect that has us open up to and support these things. The women and children.

RE: Is it possible to Love somebody but not RESPECT him/her?

Thrown away wet is when she really wants to have his babies, there's a time for behaving like an arsehole and it just happens to be the peak of fertility.

Respect comes later in life and during other times of the month. Like a companion, the relationship as stable as a bucket of cold water.

RE: Is it possible to Love somebody but not RESPECT him/her?

In a state of nature the powerful man saves woman from the bear, but I think for man the power is the bear that eats you. To protect her is in the way we've all evolved, but what did we need her for? Nothing she's just loved as she is. Respect is for someone's abilities and what they bring to the table. We respect the bear which for some reason nature has ordained us to stand in the way of

RE: what do you never do?

Get into conversation with random people from a website. Particularly when they're over 40 and it's extra weird to end up doing something like this

RE: Gut feelings.....

We come here to find out why the west and everything it stands for is wrong from the perspective of the hard right. And we go to a liberal arts college to find out why the west and everything it stands for is wrong from the perspective of the hard left.

And by we I mean a hypothetical we. In the modern world who actually does spend one day with the art students and the next day wondering around Poundland?

RE: Gut feelings.....

And an international militant wing of divorced people over 40. The website in no small part exists to create visa marriages which is a more thorough going take on sleeping with the boss for money. The men go in search of women in poor conditions that won't put up too much of a fight, and the interest of these women is to emphasize how cheap and easy they are by comparison to western women.

RE: Gut feelings.....

Extreme views are near normal on here. This is the militant wing of divorced people over 40 who are single for good reason.

RE: The Climate Book

You'd buy that for a dollar wouldn't you, Bixby

RE: Contribute your thoughts

I've not had a bag of Chipsticks in years

RE: Tuning Forks

Everytime I see you I just see Eva Braun, the first thing that comes into my head each time. Do they work on hallucinations?

RE: Does anyone have a interest in the art of Impressionists. Artists like Monet, Degas and Renoir?

Don't overthink it, just decide at the time. Be in the moment is what the impressionists were saying although I suspect that personally I'd choose to just look out of the window. Perhaps a series of glances through the window to avoid seeing anything too clearly

RE: What is luck from your point of view?

Privilege would be the good friends who got you in there with the love of your life. Luck is to one day bump into the love your life, didn't even have to think about it it was thought about by no one.

RE: What is luck from your point of view?

For better or worse luck is not what you deserve. But I would distinguish luck from privilege, your parents making a better life for their kids is not quite the same thing as you being lucky. I mean you are lucky to have those parents but it is not absolute chance that your parents did this. They meant a better life for the kid and you are that kid.

RE: Is it possible to Love somebody but not RESPECT him/her?

Quite often easy to take the ones you love for granted so I would say yes. Familiarity breeds contempt a certain, albeit temporary, preoccupation with the things I don't like about you and how I wish you were different. But all it takes is a little absence to remind me of all the things I did respect. Ain't nobody more respected than the dead and it's because the living are ungrateful.

RE: healthy lifestyle

Although I'll tell you what my struggle is, it's the balance of the oldendaysers developing a level of coordination that is found today in those who ran away to join the circus. The men who built the empire state building did not fall over for no reason, or forget things all the time. The modern world has two left feet and a lot of insurance, it's second nature is that of a posh spaz in a great wave of clumsy mum's skirts.

RE: your favorite bird??

Penguin. There's something about the flightless bird that reminds me of our own species.

RE: Thoughts For The Day

And you know, even if you have dealt with worse it's still more inspiring to see how much harder it is for them to deal with things. A rookie going into battle has to be a lot braver than the veteran.

But at the same time we can do too much. Women receive likes as though they were about to die in battle, mash your face into the keyboard and somebody will upvote it and it must be nice to know you always have that basis of support. Women complain about the glass ceiling they don't complain about all the cracks in society not being wide enough, why can't I be homeless like the old man down at the seamans mission? I say all this because men in the west are lonely and persecuted, it's gone beyond Homer Simpson in the 1990s what an idiot men are into quite a vicious misandry that really is out to harm us, and more than this the civilisation itself is on the verge of collapse.

RE: Thoughts For The Day

It's just a thought as we don't actually know what someone's been through and some people get all the help and other people get none. In the first world those who don't have any real problems are still in the majority, but we want to hear the words "deal with it" from someone who has dealt with worse. Marie Antoinette said deal with it and how did she cope with that guillotine? Not well.

The Avalanches. Frankie Sinatra

RE: Trust.......

I don't know. It's more general than that - assuming things about people I know nothing about. The complete stranger will be intelligent, will not be a bad person and so on. Basically projecting myself onto the unknown.
