RE: Besides the USA, what countries are provide humanitarian aid to the crisis in Venezuela

Not a bone in my body trusts the intentions of Russia and China.

But what they do have is 15 years later. The Chinese and Russian mistakes of 15 years ago were made by the same people in power today more or less.

The problem with liberal democracy in an infantilised world is the total absence of the buck stops here. What is liable to arise is an instantly-gratifying plunderthon of irreparable long term damage.

RE: Besides the USA, what countries are provide humanitarian aid to the crisis in Venezuela

Not that it would be impossible to make a wedge for yourself and help the people of Venezuela as well.

But whatever help you bring it has to be less exploitative than the help being offered elsewhere. If you’re not careful you could destabilise a continent and 15 years down the road you could have a democrat president who grants them all asylum. A golden opportunity to be defeated by your own greed lies before you.

RE: Ladies

It’s to seem basically fine whilst enduring an immense amount of pain. Graceful. Women seem flowery and peaceful, but the truth is they want a hard life.

RE: Men, how would y9u handle this?

That’s great mate you’ve seduced your own girlfriend. Another notch on the bedpost, sort of.

Forgive me for that I must be drunk from last night

RE: I don't like or respect Donald Trump because....

He can’t take the piss out of himself when he can’t take the piss out of himself. Easy rattled and unable to accept criticism in many ways you can tell he’s a rich kid from New York. We can’t say he’s not soulless.

But then in ways he’s not the rich kid from New York. He’s tacky and not completely in bed with those who keep things as they are in the interests of a few. With Trump you say dirty disgusting human being, but a human being nevertheless.

RE: Make Mine FREEDOM

What happens in America won’t completely accord to any one ism. It’ll be a hodgepodge of various different isms - classic liberalism, nationalism and progressivism. The freedom is that you’ll eventually get voted out(or in), freedom is unpredictable and various.

RE: Ansti Omar.

I don’t know whether it’s the religious mission or something to do with the ghetto and being evolved to be an immigrant. They’re good at engineering and cerebral activities but other things they do lead to bad blood and chemistry, whether it’s Marxism or zionism this evolved immigrant race seems to choose multi-culti, discord and bad neighbours as a rule. Even it’s ethno state of kin and kind is located at the epicentre of multiculturalism(the Middle East)and Marxism is the unprecedented desire to gather together people who hate one another. It’s something to do with Jews being on the outside historically which causes them to build this unfriendly society again and again.

RE: Ansti Omar.

As strongly as I disagree with the foundation of Israel - Zionism is an autistic death wish I can’t believe they put Israel there and I swear that decision relates to them not being able to kick a ball straight.

However not kicking a ball straight is no reason to wipe Israel off the map and I wouldn’t want to give license to Muslim deflection. Muslims have a real problem accepting responsibility for anything they do.

RE: Who wants to see the anterior procedure incision for my new left hip joint?

All that stitching makes you look like an American football although I expect that’s the last thing you’ll be playing now. You should have played more sports before. How much does it hurt?

RE: Did you know....

RE: Toxic & Negative People - How to get rid of them!

A lot of this self-help literature is just what careerists made up to attack the laid back. Not everybody is that opportunistic and mercenary.

RE: Stay Positive always!

It’s a strained and rough around the edges type of positivity I admire, we call it gallows humour and that’s the refusal to feel violated and controlled by the horrific reality in front of you.

I starkly contrast this against positivity coerced and the morale drubbing. The horrific reality in front of you ordering you to be positive.

RE: NO COLLUSION... MOVE ON!

You don’t have to be a fascist to believe something like that, but it helps.

Mind you if you replace the word “fascists” for the word “muck you’ve more or less managed it. And I believe you do say fascist in the same tone you would say muck. I’m sick to death of foreign muck chiming in on the internal affairs of the United States.

RE: Can anyone explain why Bush senior and junior never where sent to Haag tribunal for war crimes.

The post-war belief in "we are all strong people" is what made it so people felt they could sit down together and make an informed choice, plan the days ahead. The assumption is that people are patient and reasonable.

This assumption goes eventually replaced by unpredictable leaders. A leader who rules through force of confidence and personality with the quality of political and intellectual debate reduced to deflection and gainsaying. Confidence, enthusiasm and fanaticism replace critical thought.

RE: Can anyone explain why Bush senior and junior never where sent to Haag tribunal for war crimes.

And I also believe that a lack of war creates people who are easily triggered. Democracy is linked to shared suffering and mass mobilisation creating the sense that we are all strong people. The view of the general public as trustworthy and strong is what prevents individualism/democracy from imploding into strongmen figures like Trump/Putin/Erdogan who rule for your sake.

RE: Can anyone explain why Bush senior and junior never where sent to Haag tribunal for war crimes.

The last of which is a defence of how much America spends on its military. A lot of that spending is R&D the boom of the 1990s is linked to the military debts of Reagan. War like capitalism makes the world more modern, both do away completely with what is old-fashioned and it's ironic that the one thing such a society will not be is conservative.

RE: Can anyone explain why Bush senior and junior never where sent to Haag tribunal for war crimes.

Although it is concerning because I have a feeling that a better life for your kids and war are inextricably linked.

Why do we have democracy and liberty? Because officers and footsoldiers were shelled by the same guns.
Who do we have post-war prosperity? Because war has killed the surplus population and war causes everyone to "live down" to build better tanks, and then after the war these better tank building skills become washing machines.

RE: Can anyone explain why Bush senior and junior never where sent to Haag tribunal for war crimes.

RE: Can anyone explain why Bush senior and junior never where sent to Haag tribunal for war crimes.

War can be more or less inhumane and you can respect your opponent more or less. 1650 to 1950 contained the dearth of respect for your opponent but either of this there was agreements and codes which prevented the excesses of war(at least to some extent).

RE: Are Dreams for Real?

We glance through life in the moment and don't pay full attention to everything that happens in a day - that would take forever. Dreams are the processing of this missed information, they're meaningless unless they're not. It depends on what you're missing.

RE: You favourite dating shows?

Dating in the Dark. I got my Brother onto that show, and he didn't win but he didn't lose.

RE: why do some people talk about things that happened years ago and blame parents for stuff that is bad

I would argue that youth is a broken generation that has not been bequeathed a "path to happiness", and this worst life for your children will be make or break. The broken will either burst into pieces like a frog or harden like scar tissue.

RE: why do some people talk about things that happened years ago and blame parents for stuff that is bad

Another factor is the grandparents who die like cattle. The onset of the nursing home, youth seeing what its parents did to their parents changed the tone of family in the western world.

RE: why do some people talk about things that happened years ago and blame parents for stuff that is bad

But it could be worse. Baby boomers turned on otherwise good parents just because those parents couldn't spell very well. A youth rebellion today would be considerably more valid than the one of 50 years ago.

RE: why do some people talk about things that happened years ago and blame parents for stuff that is bad

And not unrelated to this is the fact that people don't have the familial support network they once did.

Just look at connectingsingles, in the good old days parents and grandparents wouldn't be on here they'd be much more focused on the family and the family would in turn be much more respectful of them.

It doesn't explain each individual case but it does explain the general sense of being jilted and betrayed amongst younger people. There's a sense that "maturity" has abdicated responsibilty and left us up to our necks in it.
