Basically put the oldendaysers were right to believe that smoking was cool, but they were wrong about it being good for a cough. And in this century they're right about the cough, but they're as cool as AIDS.
About 5 a day. I see smoking as a bit like a popular meditation widespread enough to make the culture just a little bit more composed than it would be. Without which people become more annoying and overweight, emotionally reactive.
As we become poorer I do believe that the latest wave of feminism, trust fund baby feminism the idea that a woman can do any mad thing she wants will give ground to the old feminism, the radical idea that women are adults. Do you know where women can do maths? India. Do you know where women can do logic? Taiwan
Climbing onto a roof will be making a comeback in addition to the classics of putting out a spider, opening a jar.
And also the right to be lazy which will come off the back of doing the things that need to be done. At present we have an almost Soviet ability for busied nothingness, we've never worked more hours and yet we've never been more bankrupt. And it is because what we do matters as well as our enthusiasm for it. It's not just working hard at something really pointless which is how we manage to work longer than ever before, and yet be bankrupt.
We could have done with a good king round about now. Is it too soon to install William to the throne? It's better to get the dirty work over with quickly when Britain is already humiliated in the eyes of the world.
Honesty. Honesty includes people who are sincerely wrong and the people who believe their own lies.. and we believe in those. I'm a bit precious about the word truth it's up there on a pedestal next to the facts.
When it's covid I think of people being paid handsomely to sit at home all day, when it's any other health issue I think of people being declared fit for work when they're dead. It's cruel really to make a corpse turn up for a job interview.
A lot of people feel like that because of the shenanigans. Boris won a landslide victory and has been replaced by a coup basically. The Tories now look terrible to anybody who thinks of democracy. And in addition to that Boris is to the left of Sunak when it comes to money. He's a one nation Tory an ideology to the left of this Pinochet-style coup we are seeing.
And I imagine Boris timing his comeback with the scandal breaking around Pfizer. All we now know is that the vaccine passports were a lie, the way the unvaccinated were treated was based on evidence that didn't exist they just flat out lied when they said that vaccination stops the spread. Half the population treated quarter of the population like a Jew In Germany because our authorities are at best easily put upon and at worst a conspiracy.
A broken leg is never a good thing yet I don't really feel the same way about mental illness. It could be a positive and sometimes people are actually more to claim that you are mad. What if you were a genius unappreciated in your own time? You must never assume that you are a genius unappreciated in your own time but this hasn't happened once, it's happened more than once.
Well the markets know which side their bread is buttered and to be fair we can't live by disorder. We have to make concessions to the done thing as well even if the market's done thing isn't anywhere near as worthwhile as it should be. Would you trust a crack addicts opinion about crack? And that's what the markers are, addicts.
Anyway you can imagine a year two from now Boris bouncing back saying that the will of the people has been thwarted by the technocrats at Westminster.
Anyway what I don't like about Sunak is that you've got Jeremy Hunt up there next to him. I believe that together they're too much of the same thing in a democracy that just voted for Brexit. It's alright being clever but you have to make concessions to the fact you live in a democracy.
Time will tell. I must say that the last time we agreed for 5 minutes(lockdown)doubled the chance of a piece of wood smashed into your face - not just for 5 minutes but for the rest of your days. I'd be amazed if we all agree on something that creates a happy future ahead
But I guess we could sell all of our jewelry and buy ourselves 6 months on a plantation to build character. I can't think of many people who would consciously do this but in a weird way it's inevitable because a fool and his money are soon parted. The rise of silliness and decadence doesn't happen overnight but everywhere that was once successful inevitably becomes a fools paradise that delivers us back to the plantation by accident not by design.
Manhood, endurance and staying power are the things money can't buy because the customer is always right. And this makes you the woman in the relationship. To be flattered regardless of what you say. Manhood can only win the argument by being right and he needs be more than right to be considered right. Like a poor person.
Not that I have a problem with Penny Mordaunt. Just because Theresa May and Liz Truss were the worst we've ever had doesn't mean Penny would be, they should have let her go first. Liz and Theresa sorta say you don't need to be fit for the job in any way at all if you're a woman. Not a good example to give really
Actually can we scratch that scheme to depopulate the earth because I don't really believe that's why lockdown happened. I don't see the world as that conspiratorial if for no other reason than it doesn't have the talent. No, it's that the people vulnerable to covid just happened to be the richest and most powerful people in the world. Not all, but disproportionately this is the case. The rich could have died like the rest of us in 2020 so we moved the earth so that they didn't. But for most people on earth it's like trading your livelihood for volcano insurance. Never going to use it. Is this volcanic ash I see before me? No, it's a mushroom cloud. These are the things that happen when you turn the world off and back on again like a computer
Then again I could defend Sunak under the same reasoning. No way in hell did he want to do furlough, he was forced into that by the circumstances. The hypochondria of the posh spaz that plans to reach 400 by living like one of those things mad scientists keep in a jar. Living like an homunculus.
Although it's easy for me to forgive Boris even tho he gave the order for conscription into this disgusting and unnecessary war against covid. Why? Because it was against his will. He was forced into it no less than we were. We were all ordered to attempt suicide by global authorities that seek to depopulate the earth. They called it lockdown because they're not going to call it kill yourself because I told you to, and we believed them
Yes but he broke the law. And the law is the law especially when it's a crime against humanity. Especially when it ravages up our finances, imprisons billions, and takes the first word out of a child's mouth.
Unless the west treats men better there'll be a reaction that will mean prison for women who miscarriage. This would be an eye for an eye justice which I don't condone. But that is justice in the eyes of the abused, to all go blind
And all that does in the long run is reverse Roe vs Wade. That's revenge for what's being done to male biology in the western world, to make the system cruel and unfair towards female biology instead.
I mean how would you feel if you have to film yourself constantly to disprove what a woman said? Men like a Jew in Germany where you don't even need to prove guilt, you can just say guilty, and the men have to prove innocence to not go to jail. You can't believe it's really happening, but it is
It might not be woman per se, but the winning 75-0 and your ability to lock a man up more than once without any evidence make you a terrible human being. It's the society that did it
