RE: How to keep a conversation going

Have to say your right.
As much as there are your multiply thread people.
The people who spout constant about politics
Those who are on a religious mission.
Those who are this that and the other, that so..just are sick of.

Then once in a while the "social super kings and queens" come along wanting to share their new found wisdom of how to clean this joint up a bit and how you should do more of this and less of that ,and poof, all harmony is restored...
Not realising they are just simply another cog in a never ending wheel of same ole same ole on here with no change.
Once in a while a newbie comes along and everyone jumps in to give their one little or "whitty quip" to impress their fellow members...and then its back again to saving CS from impending doom all because of American political or woman/man bashers or religious freaks...and so it continues...making us realise that we clearly need some mental help session to figure why we bother here at all.

RE: Watering Flower

Utter filth....

RE: Happiness

His knowledge
His passion
His drive
His level of conversation and his tolerance of difference of opinion
His ability to calmly have a disagreement.
How he handles a row.
How he treats his Mother
How sociable he is
How he views women vs men.
His kindness and heart.

RE: what is Ireland famous for...?

RE: What aspect of another person out of these Five (5) are you usually most attracted too

Emotional stability would be the biggest thing.

Financial doesnt bother me unless they are a couch potato...I like driven people who go for what they want...plus I make good money I dont need charity.

Physically it's important for them to like themselves physically as it is for me to find them attractive.

I like for us to agree on the important aspects that glue a relationship together but would also like him to be able to stand his ground on anything else that we may not see eye to eye on...we may just learn from each other...

Support and encouragement are a big deal....and I detest a relationship where there is jealousy for the other doing well in life or has achieved something they worked for....its an ugly trait.

RE: Romantic ...?

I do like it but not too much.
I like the odd bunch of flowers...no chocolate.
I like when he has the fire and dinner ready when I get home.
I like when something is on my mind I can sit down and chat with him and he helps clear my mind.
I like that he is up for places and events that he doesnt necessarily like but will support me.
This is reciprocal.
That's my kind of romance.
Hugs when I've had a bad day.
Minding me when I was bed bound after an operation
And the most important thing is that in doing this we are teaching his 10 year old how healthy relationships should look like and give her confidence that she shouldnt choose less for herself.
All of the other fluffy romantic things they can keep for their "happily ever after romance novels"

RE: Advice concerning a dating prospect

Am have a confession to make..where I'm from height hair colour etc are lies.
I'm attached and was in a "I think I'm hilarious " mood and decided to make up my profile blues

I'm from Limerick but now living in Cork.
I actually put wicklow as it's one of very few counties I havnt been to in Ireland and have a very romantic view of what I think it's like there...lots of wooded areas...lovely sleepy villages
. Loads of vintage shops, beautiful walkways...nice beach...and a stones throw from Dublin city for shopping laugh

Knowing my luck it will be like Killinascully " Irish comedy show based in makey up village that's as backward as bedamned".
