In regard to that way of thinking when it comes to cat's & rodents
Dogs are capable of sinking it's teeth into a rodent that kind of thing isn't privy to only cats
You would be a right fool to think if your cat caught one mouse or one rat everything is honky dory
One rat or one mouse means you have an infestation
Rodents carry all sorts of diseases
There are cases where people will fumigate or put deadly poison inside & outside their home which means those rodents run looking for water They end up on other peoples properties whom have pets Those pets will snag one of those poisoned rodents & die themselves
If I was ever to come across one rodent of either breed I would pay money to fumigate
Fancy relying on pets to sink their teeth in rodents then lick their owners
