As I entered the gym doors this morning my girlfriend came up to me asking me if I would mind sitting in the cafe before I started my sessions I knew something was up because we usually walk in and get to it
She was sent to some joint as they thought she had kidney stones Turns out my girlfriend is in stage one of Pancreatic cancer I'm still stunned because she's so healthy & young We talked about a few things I asked did she feel up to working out She said I will be having three months of radiation I need to be here before I go to work as usual because I need to stay busy
I know stage one is a good thing in her favour but I'm still petrified of losing her because I have so many family members on my mothers side whom succumbed to pancreatic cancer within six months of being diagnosed I didn't tell my girlfriend that I look at it like my family members must of been diagnosed with this silent killer when it was too late.
We have so many events happening to raise money for Cancer On the 14th of Sept I have Dance Fit at the Cube On the 15th of Sept I have to dress up for Retro Aerobics at the Cube..We also have a Les Mills launch where we have to dress up as Barbie or Ken I'm thinking I might go as Ken because how in hell am I going to be dressed up as Barbie working out to all those 30 minute launches Spring is here so much is happening I'm flat chat at the mo I'm luving it
