I have a very huge very high red bottle brush tree & I'm thinking that's where their nest was & the torrential rain knocked them arse over head I have a few palm tree's as high as the Eiffel Tower but I don't think birds nest in palm tree's
Early hours this morning having a Protein shake before heading out the door a baby bird caught my eye
OMG what a bloody mess he or she was in Raced inside to grab a towel I gently picked up this little babe in torrential rain It's little badly broken leg was hanging by a thread bleeding a lot Not sure if it fell from a nest in one of my palm tree's or it was attacked It's was a sickening injury
I had no choice but to take a day off the gym as well as work I rang Wires whom rescue animals The man said shit it's a terrible break told me to ring them Tuesday to see how it's doing I reckon they will put it down
So this afternoon I'm cooking spaghetti & meatballs Another bloody baby bird was injured being pounded by torrential rain not as bad as this mornings fiasco but nonetheless.what is it with these baby birds landing in my yard hurt
