RE: Irish politicans

It's simple we the public are their employers then vote according to your conscience and fire them.

Irish people need to engage and embrace real change, that's empower yourself.

Yes the country is without equity or fairness, we the people need to change that and how you vote determines that.

RE: so what's your favourite tipple

RE: New low.

Is real is only reacting to the Arabs who are ignorant to the fact the Jewish people are entitled to exist.

This conflict will end when Arabs come to an understanding that 2 wrongs don't make a right.

RE: IMF

The Sad fact is Ireland has been Bankrupted by inept Politicians, Poor Guidance from The Higher Civil Service ( Not the ordinary Civil Servants) coupled with light touch regulation which has resulted in FF again at helm of another economic mess which they should be proud of with there green party lackies who remind you Nero whilst Rome burned.

Even with IMF and ECB help our Bankers have held our Politicians over a barrel whilst the greatest crime against the citizens of Ireland is been carried out Treason.

RE: newbie

cswelcome

RE: Olli Rehn

Our system of Governance failed miserably and yes the bankers have held every citizen hostage along all the TD's in FF, The Greens, Independents and the PDs.

Olli Rehn wouldnt be here if Leadrship had been shown and a basic respect for all the citizens of our Nation, Ireland is effectively Insolvent and we are now going to made beholding to a foreign power because of Traitors.

RE: Remember Hiroshima

You are right but by virtue of what he did it saved the skins of the Brits.

RE: Remember Hiroshima

YOu are right about this but Bomber Harris as he was know came up with this ideaand again it comes abck to th fact that these are acts of mass murder.

RE: Remember Hiroshima

I to saw the programme the A bomb attacks were plain and simple murder the US wanted to see the power of the weapon that is why Hiroshima wasnt bombed and nuked instead.

I can't help but wonder why 2 attacks one at ground level and the second an airburst designed to crush and incinerate all below, but most importanly it was directed against civilians.

In my book murder is murder.

RE: Sharp rise in Live Register figures!

I couldnt agree more i recently went to see the Insiders with David McWilliams and most of the people in charge of NAMA are the same people that brought us to the brink or perhaps will yet.

There may be blood yet on our streets because Oil is incresing, Russia has had a crop failure which means dearer food, interest rates are rising, Taxes are set to rise,Cuts even deeper than expected and perhaps faster and wages going down.

I am normally a optimistic person but the light at the end of the Tunnell i think may be an exprees train.

RE: Sharp rise in Live Register figures!

The reality is the Ireland will default on its debts and we will go bankrupt at the current rate.

The Banks along with there political friends but most importantly the Higher Civil Service have screwed each and every person in this country.

Perhaps it may take peoplepower to remove them and put in some decent politicians that are honest brutal with the medicine not just for the commoner that will get us out of this mess.

RE: Fuel tax cuts, should governments give us a break or not???

I think that in Ireland we are to Oil dependent, we havent embraced new technologies that could make a difference like wind, Solar and nuclear. It is a case that the world is clearly over populated and developed and developing countries are comsuming to much fuel at an alarming rate.

The people of Ireland voted for the Greens in large numbers and these Muppets ahev done very little except give the average person a hard time and blame them for the Ills of Oil dependency. They should stop talking and introduce change to new technologies and stop speculators from making vast sums on Oil in the commodities market.

Think that supermarkets such as Tesco send food from here to Poland to clean and package and houses require cement it to produces vast amounts of CO2 so consumers do drive the market but what about giving them an eco choice that is the responsibility of Government stop waffling and enforce change at the manufacturing stage.

With regards to Diesel i now use Vegetable oil it can be bought for 99 cent a litre and my car burns it, plus why arent fuel companies not putting biofuel on forecourts, it is clearly about profit at the expense of hard hit people while we have an elite in Dail Eireann more preoccupied with their long breaks and waffling while tax payers are been shafted.

RE: You a cat or dog person
