That's because of the 'War' that we are involved in right now. I don't agree with that either. However, the US has to try to make the country not look like we're descriminating against Muslims. I don't agree with that at all, but it is what it is at the moment.

To to the original topic of the post, the separation of church and state most definitely adheres to public schools. There are kids of all religions and belief systems that are in public schools, so therefore, if you call for a moment of silence or prayer time, you are descriminating against others. I am not a Christian and I live in the South. I have to deal with people having issues with me almost daily. I don't have any issue with to not having kid's subjected to prostheletizing(sp?) by someone that is not of their faith.
The girl in the picture with me isn't wearing make-up in that shot(she may be wearing a little around her eyes). I can tell you that I am not lying about wanting to see someone without make-up. One of the problems with make-up, is the fact that if people wear it all of the time, they no longer can handle not wearing it because they think they aren't pretty without it. Don't let society tell you how to look.

Well, in actuality, we are, as is everything, "God". Being that the energy that is "God" is everything and everything is energy at it's most quantum level, we are all, in essence, "God". The difference is that there have been very few humans in history to ever fully realize the truth about our pure "God" consciousness. The trouble with being in human form, is the inability to truly look past all of the barriers in our way, that hold us back from finding our true selves and the true selves of everyone that we see.

Or is it more real than what you actually can see? We do have an effect on or surroundings and realities by what we think and how we think; that is just one of the Quantum experiments that have been found to be true. If you really want to take it deep, everything is really just interpretations of our own minds. That being said, nothing is real or unreal, more simply illusions or interactive holograms inside of ourselves.

That is paraphrased from some ancient scrolls that were found to be written by the Apostle Thomas. I personally look at the spirit of "God" to be more like the Force in Star Wars. Science is catching up, just look at Quantum Physics and Quantum Mechanics. The findings in Quantum experiments show that all things are vibration and tone. That being said, all things conscious or not, vibrate together to create the Cosmic 'chord', ergo the OM.
There were way too many posts here for me to read completely; basically I just don't have the time to read it all. As far as the original topic goes, it has been said a few times, but Hamas broke the cease fire by lobbing rockets into Israel for 3 weeks prior to any retaliation. There have been so many different opportunities for the Palestinians to have their own state and seat in the UN, but what have they done?! They have complained about only receiving , oh 85% of their demands instead of 100%. The place where they have screwed up is by turning down the 85% and working with the UN to get the other 15% of what they want; that's just stupid. Also, the fact that Hamas regularly uses the civilian population as human shields to get the support of the international community, is cowardly and tragic. There are very few things that go on in the Middle East that I support, but I have to say that Israel has the right to do exactly what they are doing right now. This could have been avoided. Instead, Hamas wants to continue it's policy of kill Israel and everything that they stand for.
