Going against the trend here a bit :) I wouldn't have a problem dating any of my exes again - have been lucky enough that none of the relationships have ended badly. I still talk to most recent one quite regularly and have a good laugh.
Thankfully not logging in much means I've missed most of the carry on again. Seems like there's always something kicking off though now. Surprised that there are still people who've been on the site long enough at this stage who'll jump in and try to enflame the situation. I'd quite like to see some members of the forum becoming Mods so that some of the crap gets nipped in the bud.
Was enjoying the toast thread with a bit of bromance there on the side but I'm shocked at a Cork girl talking about drinking Lyons or Punjana. The shame! I'll return to my toast (with peanut butter this time) and Barrys tea.
Then they're fully entitled to all the help the state has to give. Though being idealistic one would hope that they wouldn't be allowed to get stuck long-term in such a state by their peers, would you?
If you take another look at the rest of the post ...
.. you'll see I'm talking about the corruption all around us which takes in businesses and politicians. This thread, though, is specifically about Benefit Fraud which is why the first part of my post focuses on it.
I'm surprised by how many people see nothing wrong with taking from society. The welfare state was intended to help and support people when they need it not to duck from their responsibilities to a just and fair society. Even if it's just a small amount, the problem is that a small amount becomes a gradually bigger amount easily, it's just a matter of personal justification that ends in the large amounts of fraud and corruption we see around us today. Our government is of the people and for it to be honest then honesty must prevail in us, the people. The thieving of our politicians is a reflection on the society that gives them their power.
which lists ~1600 in Ireland (Republic) while Wikipedia lists ~1500 GAA clubs (all counties in the GAA). Assuming an error tolerance of +/- 6% in those numbers you can pretty much say they're about the same.
You probably don't want to put her down directly as it'll probably hurt him but at the same time you really want to keep him clear and not let him get used.
You might also be interested in heading out further west and south-west to tie in some of the archaeological sites with Irish/Celtic mythology e.g. somewhere like Rathcroghan in County Roscommon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rathcroghan - will give you some background) which also has some samples of Ogham script (from around 400AD). Would probably be a nice complement to Newgrange.
Cool, get you know - not a fan of the 'west brit' thing myself but wary of kicking off a row I love hurling more than the football but I'm also a big fan of rugby. Less into soccer but I'm going to grab a Galway United season ticket anyway (support local!)
Hurling is a lot older than that - it predates Christianity. The tie-in with the Young Fenians relates to training drills using the hurley in place of a gun.
There's an aerosol based product called 'Silence' you can get at the pharmacy. I presume he's gone through the usual things like weight loss if needed, quit smoking if he does and check sleeping position.
