Well if the people don't agree with government policy they need to change the government. I can understand how the average citizen feels pretty helpless. I also understand how many truly do want to believe everything is going to work out well in the end. But I also can't help but believe many are being disingenuous when they act like they are not concerned. So that's the part I don't particularly like, the dishonesty.
