It's just hard to understand how intelligent people can be so easily fooled by a smiling face and a good stage presence. Europeans seem to be especially susceptible to his charms. They seem to more interested in semantics than substance, oblivious to the fact that actions speak louder than words.
I think if it brings someone comfort or a sense of purpose in their life there can be a value in that. If you don't believe in God then who do you think wrote the bible and why? I too am not qualified to speak on the Koran or the bible either for that matter.
