I see these kind of threads as pub entrances, you go in and have a look around, now if it was the kind of pub where a few people huddled round a few tables debating mass particle physics in a very high brow self important manner I don't think I would linger very long... nothing against those who wish to sit and have long winded discussions on such matters... BUT, It just wouldn't appeal, not would reading through reams and reams of words when a few words and a few well placed emots will convey the same message

uuum yeah, It does resemble a bit of a war zone at times... not being about that long, its hard to tell those who are ripping each other a new one out of fun and friendship... and those you wouldn't leave in a room together alone for fear of ABH being committed...

Gave up on pubs not many old spit n sawdust stylee walk in and get a peaceful brew type boozers around any more, even the real dives seem to have gone chrome, and the good old prince where I used to go many moons ago became an Irish theme bar........

Mostly agree....

The way it feels to me is kinda like the pub on the moors in the Film An American Werewolf in London......

The strangers wander in and get greeted with the sudden silence and the looks.....


Then the locals carry on as before...
