RE: the Eire Border

So you're basically a buffoon spewing idiocies for the purpose of sowing discord on Politics threads. Got it thumbs up

RE: Will men in the near future be wearing body cams?

There already are men who wear bodycams, probably more than we know.
There already are business men who are not hiring women for fear of becoming the next #MeToo victim.
There are already plenty of men who stay away from women as if their lives dependented on it...as it does.

I'm not going to wear a bodycam unless I participate in a protest of some sort, which is not likely. I don't need a bodycam because I severely restrict my interactions with women in real life. It helps when you're not looking to hook up, date or marry, ever.

RE: what do you think of people that making more of 10 profiles on a dating site?

Whose fault is it if you're scammed?
Is it the scammer's fault for being capitalistically enterprising (laugh) or is it your fault for believing every Jane, Jenny and Janette who writes you a happy note?

First, scammer or not, you should seriously ask yourself why a woman would start something online unsolicited, without any effort on your part.
Second, if it's seems to good to be true it usually isn't and
Third, wake up! This isn't a Lollypop Guild's world! Until someone has proven to be an ally they're a rival for everything you've got!
If she/he ain't WITH you then he/she is against you.

No "special lady" in my life, thank heaven.

RE: How can you differentiate a 'friendly' hug from a 'loving' hug?

Friendly hug: waist away from the person.
Lover's hug: waist against the other's.

RE: Saudi Arabia

I find it entertaining. grin

RE: Saudi Arabia

Maybe not idiots but corrupt could be a distinct possibility.

RE: Hatred for Trump supporters is going to far. Wish we die by kool aid like in Jim Jones

Ik hoop dat je Canada leuk vindt ... te koud naar mijn smaak. conversing

RE: the Eire Border

"Remain won. Nothing much changes."
You ASSUME that nothing much would change but if Life isn't movement and change than it's Death. The UK is sliding on several E.U slippery slopes that announce nothing good for Brits in the near future.

"If the British gov is going around like headless chickens..."
With 'IF' I can put Paris a bottle. I see the British government doing just fine weren't for the Remain crybabies and the upset Eurocrats.
"...how can you justify the remark that the ordinary, common, everyday citizen could possibly have made an informed decision?"
How can you justify holding TWO elections for something that has already been voted on? That's undemocratic and would cause more harm to the British people than Brexit ever would.
But to answer your question, you aren't giving the common, everyday citizen enough credit AND you're gonna steal away the results of an election that was already called?? You call that Democracy? Are you nuts?

RE: the Eire Border

Man! Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed and decide to be quite contrary today or is this your usual mood?

I understand that a lot of Brits are scared for the future of Brittain and you are scared, too. I can see it in your eyes laugh but seriously, do you really want your country to be ruled by unelected politicians across the channel whose only worry is what kind of caviar they'll eat this evening?
Has the mighty English fallen so low as to let foreigners dictate what they should do on their soil? Think about that.

RE: the Eire Border

No problem, Informed Voter. grin

RE: the Eire Border

Oh do get nasty, by all means. What you gonna do laugh kill me with harsh words? rolling on the floor laughing

RE: the Eire Border

No need to get nasty, sir. I can't help it if I have stronger arguments than you have.
Join the Brexiteers. If anything, you'd feel better. laugh

RE: The world as we know it, is ending.

You're welcome peace

RE: the Eire Border

Bah! Wishful thinking.

And you're right, those who lick Eurocrats' boots don't believe in Democracy. They just want to have their way, lie, cheat and then pretend it's "Democracy in action" when they dare show their ugly mug on TV.

RE: The world as we know it, is ending.

Quit blaming God. Leave Him out of Human stupidity, greed and injustice!
This planet is only 'hell' because Mankind has willingly given up the teachings of the prophets and apostles for a Lie in order to satisfy Flesh and Mind.
God did not order or condone what we now see happening around the world. Those things we now see are the very events God warned us would happen if Mankind abandoned the sacred teachings and the Love we ought to have for our own Creator and His creation.
Mankind thought it was more cleaver than its Creator and is now suffering the consequences. All your 'hell on Earth' is self-inflicted. No need to cry about it now!

So the scoffers will keep scoffing and mockers will mock, even through the apocalypse.

Our only excuse is "To err is human".
A very lame excuse if you ask me.

RE: The Cycle of Fear

Cats afraid of dogs? I can't count how many times I seen a cat woop a dog's butt.

Man afraid if woman?
Yeah, married man for sure.

Where are the birds in that picture?
Birds eat mice. I'm pretty sure mouse is scurd of bird.

RE: What do you use when you run out if toilet paper?

I hardly ever run out of toilet paper but when I do I get newspaper... preferably the pages with pics of politicians on them laugh

RE: Saudi Arabia

You seem to know a LOT about that murder and you're so sure of it... Too much in fact.
Tell me, where were you on the day of the killing... Do you have an alibi ? laugh

RE: Saudi Arabia

thumbs up
Yep. I was a legal immigrant to the U.S 30yrs ago and I can testify to the veracity of your post.
My ex and my kids received support because they were citizens but I myself didn't qualify for ANY government benefits at all. The social worker told me it wasn't because I had a job, it was because I wasn't a citizen of the U.S.
Perfectly understandable and just.
If you go to a country that isn't yours, why expect that government and its people to support you?? That's madness!

RE: the Eire Border

WHAT.A.MESS!

How long do you Brits figure you'll be jerked around for? Years? Decades?
I mean... Didn't you have a vote on Brexit??confused
Fortunately for the Eurocrats I'm not involved or in charge of that process. I'd take Brittain out of that doomed Union in a week THEN negotiate!

Can you imagine if Brittain had accepted to change to the Euro? doh

RE: Saudi Arabia

"Last month she began anchoring a program called “Detector,” which focused on political investigations.
Only one segment of the relaunched program aired before her death. It featured the work of two journalists investigating the alleged misuse of public E.U. funds by a network of corporations in the region."

Find those behind that "network of corporations" and you'll have your killers.

RE: Have women lost their femininity?

I agree but I learned it from the best: feminists grin

RE: Tell me right now!!!

It's true that being somewhat obsessive can help in certain instences.
I never look for my keys nor have I ever lost my wallet. I've never forgotten to lock my doors ( house and car ) and I can tell instantly if something has been moved or taken from my place... But overall, OCD isn't a good thing. I didn't know about the condition until it was way too late to go see the shrinks. I just thought all those things were quirks of personality. laugh

RE: The world as we know it, is ending.

The Roman empire ruled over the known world for 507 years. It began with the crowning of Gaius Octavian Thurinus in 31 B.C. and fell to the German Goths in A.D. 476.
I call 507 years of rule a success! Especially with the means they had way back then.
Name another civilisation that "failed" so spectacularly.

I agree.

RE: The world as we know it, is ending.

The Mayans didn't "fail". A severe drought, exacerbated by widespread logging, triggered the Mayan demise.

As for the Egyptians, a loss of military power and lackluster military development due to available natural resources; political conflicts led to the eventual split of the empire into northern and southern areas and a protracted civil war between the two regions. These forces signaled the initial fragmentation of the Egyptian state as it was and opened the door for other growing empires to invade and take Egyptian territory.
The fall of a civilisation isn't necessarily linked to a failure by the mentality of its people.
Apologies for the Mansplaining.

RE: Tell me right now!!!

Yep, I remember all that.
Can't say it was the good ol'days moping
I still level wall pictures once in a while and my fridge is stocked professionally laugh
