I have a haircut once a year, a haircut is expensive overhere, 25-30 euro's. Usually during the summer, and it's about time it gets short again, but I will make an appointment after the 6th of june (next week) when I get my 2nd vaccin/lethal injection.
a small tattoo can look beautyfull, but these big tattoos makes a woman looks ugly imho. Not only women, but all people. It also depends on where is the tattoon, on her arm or on her vack is no problem with me, but I know people with tattoos in their face. Come on...
In the Netherlands if you have a small farm, you can't survive, supermarkets pay under de price the farmer should get for his products and the supermarkets make huge profits on these products. Also farmers are forced to use a lot of pesticides, 1 fly on a cabbage and the whole production is destroyed. Also the farmers are forced to invest in ways to cause less damage to the environment. In the supermarkest and everywhere you look, unhealthy food is less expensive than healthy food. And if you have a job that pays about minimum wage, you have to eat unhealthy food or skip several meals a month. Supermarkets produce food themselves too, and in every product is to much salt and/or sugar.
When I was young mothers stayed at home and took care for diner now everyone (women included) has to work, and if you are tired after an 8 hours day at work, it's easy to order a pizza, or buy microwavefood.
So it's the system that ain't working the way it should. It forces people to make bad choises, and then they say we eat wrong and to much, we are all obese, they even say we eat to much and that's why we have fat bellies. I say, make the healthy food cheap, the unhealthy food expensive and see how fast things change.
you can put the whole world full of people, but these people have to eat too. For growing the food we need more space. And without destroying the environment, polluting the water, cutting down the rainforrest etc. it is not possible. Or all animals that ain't good for consumption should have been killed. We also need streets for transport, houses etc etc.
Of course, I know I live in a crowded country, 17.5 million people in a country you hardly can find on a globe. Almost all of the countries on the world are bigger than the Netherlands while they have less people living on one square kilometer.
any religion is based on false gods. there is no hard proof for God's existence, it's all a big lie to keep the people happy while they have nothing while the jews and other rich people are laughing their asses off about us stupid believers who even give them our money, money we have worked for very hard while we barely can survive.
If I give a thumb up it's because I like a post or agree with it. Thumbs down is the opposite. But why are thumbs down seen as negative? My opinion doesn't have to be the opinion of other people, I guess most of the time it isn't. Thumbs down means you disagree with me, maybe we can come to a good discussion trying to convince each other why they are wrong.
changing your vote because people disagree? What happens with your own opinion then? You flush it through the toilet, doing the thing people want you to do, saying and thinking the things people want you to say and think. It's like herding, follow the leaders, for the leaders are always right, even when they are wrong. That is not my cup of tea, I disagree when I feel to, and say or write about it too, usually write critical articles for the local newspaper about the local government. They don't like it, but it opens the eyes of many people.
The dutch government knows all about hiding the truth. Former primeminister Mark Rutte, expected to be the new prime minister again very soon keeps lying to the whole court, and when he's caught lying, he says: well I can't remember, or I have no accurate rememberance on this fact, even when it was a week before. They had to send documents to the judge and government but first all the evidence was painted black, and because that was to clear to see on television, the painted it white the next time. They didn't send complete files or even refused to send the files at all. Other ministers asked Mark Rutte what they could and couldn't tell. Now the former prime minister will be in court, hopefully soon, for lying under oath during his job. The Netherlands is doomed for the coming 4 years. Hopefully then Mark Rutte has to leave. With a little luck he has to leave earlier, best would be tomorrow.
I can understand if they ban a vaccin or political thread. Threads that spread fake news, like if you are vaccinated you are going to die, political threads that calls for hate etc.
