personally...a 1200km bicycle ride...camping along the way.....getting lost in wilderness and finding myself again....so healing. Currently....there is a guy kayaking around Scotland for the same reason.
Hang in there. I was drinking 2-3 bottles of whiskey a week. I woke up one morning, about 5 weeks ago, and decided I did not need any more. I am retired and live alone so have lots of time on my hands. Cycling 10-60km most days. Attending art classes and learning to paint. Cooking. But most interestingly, sleeping up to 12 hours a day as I allow my body to take over the healing process. These are the things that seem to be helping me. I once did not have a drink for 15 years. I then remarried and starting drinking again on the honeymoon. I should have seen the omen then. A bit of honest talk to supportive people seems to help too
Its hard for locals to chat one-one when too many constraints on "who can chat with me" Staring to understand why CS is dying....or maybe why CS is dead
Recently saw pic of the cathedral.... that's definitely changed. I wanted to landscape it a bit back in the day but the money wasn't available....good to see the 'old lady' dressed up. I must head up there for a few days and look about the old stomping ground
but I am 30( *2) plus a bit more....and still look good until I put my glasses on and look in mirror.....I also look even better when I get deeper into whiskey bottle....might have to block myself
I just found the site.... so far I think most of those who have "liked' me etc would appear to be fakes. Definitely local.....not too far from Melbourne
