It is great although I am originally from Salem Oregon which is awesome too except for all the dang rain. Yeah Denver is wonderful and has nothing to do with me I was joking. There are many great restaurants, lots of Mexican food yummy, theaters and outdoor and Red Rocks Amphitheater which is quite an experience.
What's special other than it being awesomely Denver and mucho sunshine here is that I live here of course lol. Without me I don't know what would happen to my city.
Yeah I am tired of hearing about him too he was a genius but also a sad tragic man whom it seemed his fame didn't bring him happiness and I hope for his sake that he had some counseling and a bit of peace. Feel sad for his children they are the real victims of all this.
Neither choice is stellar. They might not know long term effects of Cannibis but when you are buying that bag of weed or smoking a joint remember there have been people that have lost their lives over the crap. Just a thought. As for alcohol it's okay in moderation but in excess causes so much damage and there again loss of life when someone gets behind a wheel. Having a glass of wine, beer or mixed drink no big deal and might even be healthy. JMO I have had too many alcoholics in my life though and think both drugs can make you stupid lol.
And for the record I do support the guys that went over to Iraq and although we all hate war I was for us going in there. No one is all knowing except God.
while I have great respect for you as a vet I am not a youngster and have lived a few years too. However this isn't meant to be an argument with you I am an Independent and refuse to call others names I said give him a chance that's it. You are right I was born at the time Vietnam started happening but believe that things happen as they are meant to.
I do look around and admit I am not super political but really it seems that most of the things presidents accomplish are seen in the right perspective years later. Just an idea. Hmmm just my opinion and we all have them. From a philosophical perspective their are many things that play into running countries and we humans tend to muck em up. There are those who will like that he hit the gate running and there will be those looking for him to fail. He has hit some rough spots but again I say let's see what happens. Take Johnson for instance if the Vietnam War hadn't happen he might have been looked at as a great president as he was all for equal rights.
