Ok Alex ... just don't get yourself so upset about it all ...

You now just as sometimes people don't understand what you mean or where you're coming from, the same in reverse happens ... sometimes you don't understand what they mean or where they're coming from because you take their worlds literally when it was meant metaphorically or as a joke ...

That is why we have to accept one another just as we ALL are, you included AND when there is a misunderstanding sometimes it better to just DROP IT, LET IT GO and move onto something that is more pleasant ...

You can use a visualisation to help you if you want ... For instance
- think about something someone has said that is bothering you because you are finding it difficult to just let go or because you can't agree
- now write it on a piece of paper using your own words and in your own way OR write it on the computer then print it
- now tear up the piece of papers into little bits or screw up the page so no one can read it
- imagine a steam boat - you can make as mall or large as you want as simple or elaborate as you want
- imagine yourself safely getting on the boat and exploring the steam boat with the bits or ball of paper in your hand
- imagine that now you come accross the boiler where the steam is generated from, you stand a short while looking at it
- imagine yourself walking towards the boiler till you are near enough to touch it if you extend your arm
- now imagine yourself extending your arm and dropping the pieces or ball of paper amongst the burning coals, careful not to burn yourself!!
- now imagine watching the bits/ball of paper turning into flames and burning into ashes, then watch the smoke rise
- whatever was on your mind has now evaporated into steam going up into the sky and the clouds, no longer your concern
- now imagine retracing your steps and safely getting off the boat and back to your home, computer chair etc ...
- you feel so much lighter and happier!!!

Matic, just had a look at your profile pics!!

This what I think ... You do look good in your pic with short hair because you look more at ease BUT what I felt about your pics with long hair is that you haven't found a way to "wear" your long hair that you feel comfortable with ... you kinda look more like "I'm not sure" in your long hair pics!!! That's how I perceive it, which doesn't mean it's true ...

In my opinion (which you asked for), the fact that you comb it the way you do detracts from what could look like great curls!!! What I would do? Try a slightly more wild look and don't flatten it with a comb after washing. (Possibly have it slightly layered a bit by a good hairdresser...) Whichever way, after washing it, just finger comb it loose and let the hair find it's own place around the head ... would look more natural, less contrived and might help project more of a "l feel good in my skin and in my hair". I hope you don't mind me being honest ...

At the end of the day, you should do what makes YOU feel good, there are always ignorant people around whose only way of making themselves feel good is "to put down" someone else!! Ignore the b*st*rds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You mean to say that a MEAT processing plant EMPLOYED people who had NO official papers therefore NO WAY of getting a medical check up OR follow ups ... And you wanna blame it on the employee? Why don't you blame it on the meat processing plant trying to save money by employing someone they had no need to enter in the "system" and why aren't you appalled at their disregard for the health and safety of the citizens of your state!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Instead of being worried about the "horrible diseases" they bring ... Those diseases you mention wouldn't have got into your food chain if the Quincy St Co hadn't tryed to save a few bucks and increase their profit at the expense of their customers health!!

I was talking with a Native American lady in 2006 whose mission it was to "recover" all the remains of all the Native Americans who had been buried away from their homeland as they passed away while they were travelling with Buffalo Bill Cody "performing" about "their way of life" UNDER his controle/guidance ... She also shared that ALL the history books in the USA were about to be re-written because most of the battles that were discribed as battles were nothing but massacres of the Native Americans and the books were going to be re-written to reflect that ... It's only hearsay so don't know if it has happened or not ...

When you say WE, are you claiming that everyone in YOUR state or even say the USA thinks the way you do? You MUST have very "informed" opinions then Have you thought of running for Senate?

When I say agreeing on "how to bring up the kids" I mean in essence not in the daily detail ...
For instance if one partner believes in "dictating" and the other believes in "guiding" it will cause confusion in the child's mind because of the difference of approach and will also cause disagreements between the parents over "how they have dealt" with something ...

Intelligence V broadmindedness!!!!

Some people equate intelligence to being able to "talk" about numerous subjects ...

IMO, SOME people are ABLE to talk about many subjects BUT are soooooooooo (to nick one of Hugz fav expressions!! ) LINEAR with their way of thinking that discussing anything with them is unpleasant ... Their way of thinking can be that everything is either black or white ... Soooooooooooo tiresome!!!!!!!

I much prefer someone who is open minded and able to explore others point of view ...
Sharing similar values and ideals is also trully important in a relationship ... If children are going to be involved to actually agree on subjects like "how to bring up the kids" is paramount, in my experience ... (I learned that the hard way BTW!!! )


For instence what good would it be to share one's life with someone who we can stay up till the small hours "debating" if when it come to practical stuff he/she defines everything around them in "material terms" and the other defines everything around them in spiritual terms?
