Where I'm living at the moment in a beautiful rented villa on a mountain 1 km up a pretty descent track (unless it rains) and only 5 kms from beautiful little village - 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, huuuuuuuuuuuuuge half covered terrace on 1st floor for all over suntan purpose off, huuuuuuuuuuuuge covered terrace downstairs with arches at front, mega enournous rooms and magnificiant views of the surrounding sierras - all for €420 per month (cheap coz there's no pool)

It's about 45 min drive from Malaga, about same from Marbella ...

And it fits MOST of the creteria listed above!!!

Lago soooooooooooooooo very pleasant to see your gorgeous self back amongst us ... although I don't log on as often due to often getting distracted by this thing called living and enjoying myself!!!

1. He is married
2. He is engaged
3. He has a serious girlfriend
4. He is completely financially dependent on someone else
5. He is gay
6. He has 10 kids that need a "step Mom"
7. He believes in a religion that would restrict my freedom
8. He is ADDICTEDto a substance (other than nicotine) including wacky baccy, or even work
9. He is a priest
10. He is related to George Bush

The Yin-Yang are not opposites because each has a little of the other (the small circle in the opposite colour in the middle of each symbol) so ... although they represent, - light/darkness: the light has a certain amount of darkness and the darness a certain amount of light; - feminin/masculin: the feminin has a certain amount of masculin and the masculin has a certain amount of feminin etc ...

I read some interesting stuff about the animus and anima within us some time back according to Carl Jung who bty also has written some great stuff on the interpretation of dreams ...

Animus: the masculine principle as represented in the feminine subconscious.
Anima: the feminine principal as represented in the male subconscious.

Problems arise within relationships and within ourselves and our "feeling good in our skin" when the balance between anima/animus and who we are (male/female) is out for whatever reason ... which brings us back full circle to upbringing, traumas, families with their "legacies" and the extract Smoky quoted from The Celestine prophecy about the 4 types of personnalities

There are so many levels, strands, subtleties ... "recognising" at least some of WHAT is going on (around us and including within us), even if powerless YET to "do something" about it, is the begining of the first step to changing ones life to what we want instead of "having a life of reactions" to events of the past where ever they sprang from ...

The perfect improvised huge dining table : 4 trestle with couple of doors on top (great idea to remove handles before placing on ) couples with flat sheets for table cloths (or those colourful plastic party ones) I know coz being Spanish there's always a million of us when we have family get togethers (kitchen and lounge door are best choices as they only "get in the way" when there's lots of kiddies around





That's coz you're both involved in bringing up kids so both your priorities center around similar things ...

The thing is LionHeart, that you are saying the words yourself that explain WHY it's best to "let them go" and WHY it shouldn't impact on your self-worth ... And I think this has been touched on by other posters ...

Because they are NOT good enough for you!

Why are they not good enough for you?
Because they are NOT HONEST - with themselves and with you. You thought they were perfect and you liked them BUT now you have discovered that in fact, they have a character flaw which will play havoc with your mind if you stay in volved with them. So which were you "falling in love with"? The real them OR the illusion/idea you had of what they were like?
Why would be upset about "losing" someone that didn't really exist as you PERCEIVED them - or better said as they PROJECTED themselves to you - and worse still someone who you don't even like the actions of?

Why souldn't it impact on your self-worth?
Because you ARE still who you WERE when you first started getting involved. Your worth is still the same as back then. The one who has proven to not be "worth" as much as you thought is the other person, the one who lead you on to believe they were someone THEY ARE NOT.
