I think I'm a really good cook. My dinner rocked tonight. I rarely cook something sophisticated though since I'm too lazy to do that.
Tomorrow will be consumed by baseball all day! Got a double header and it's on the road. That means I have to get up early, jump on the team van, and drive 3 hours to Gothenburg. Then jump out of the car, get loose, and play ball. Then the drive home is going to suck since it cuts into partying time. Damn road trips...
The link I put up says differently, and the investigation was done scientifically. What should I believe? Where is the proof that the Nanothermite dust could have magically appeared as a byeproduct of the explosion? I'll look at it with an open mind if you can provide such proof. Just trying to get my own truth here.
There is sound research and investigation over at this site. The 9-11 truth movement involves scholars and many high profiled people, it's kinda hard to ignore and just easily dismiss their arguments. Maybe what happened was a combination of a lot of things, and I do think that Bush had nothing to do with this---maybe some other people in the shadows. Surely the attacks happened by terrorists, but maybe it was not stopped thought the intel was there, and then some extra things were pumped into the attack to achieve an agenda?
I will say that the idea of building a community center (Park 51/Cordoba House) in that area was not the brightest idea due to sensitivities and misunderstandings. On the other hand, I can see the efforts behind it to raise awareness and build tolerance. America is one of the most tolerant countries in the world, so I can see it working if people give it a chance. I can also see how it will not work due to what we are witnessing now. It's not a Mosque btw...
It's true though! My father's side is Mexican, and I traced back the lineage to Spain (Basque region). Still have no idea what other Mesoamerican blood is in me though. Maybe Toltec, Mayan, and Aztec?
I have a sister and many cousins in Mexico City, can't wait to visit soon!
So yeah, I do have that in my blood---to rule the universe!!!
There was not one creed in the context of war quoted by them. The site was built mainly by non-Natives.
What is your point btw? My point is that our world today is much more cruel, unjust, and violent compared with the Native's world. You have failed to demonstrate how branches of the Christian church never spread their doctrines by wiping out indigenous cultures, nor have you shown what harmony the current ideologies and institutions have brought to our planet. Do you need links to answer that? lol
True jvaski. Such a small group who scream the loudest to make it appear like they are in the majority. All the garbage fears they spread along with their intolerance. Why aren't people standing up to Evangelical churches being built?
How do you know? You don't really, mere speculation on your part. The Natives were not interested in evolving their weaponry and spreading their doctrines and institutions all over the planet while destroying the eco systems.
Anyways, I think I've made my points, you made yours, I'm done. Have a lovely weekend my friend. Maybe another time in a different thread.
Back to the topic, I think it's funny how a Muslim recreational center implies so many bad things Where is the tolerance for the different religions in our country? People act like the extremists are going to take over the country with a few mosques here and there
Well, history tells us that there have been evil people and shady governments who tricked the people. Many events are still left unanswered. It's only rational to be skeptical, and highly irrational to just believe what the media says or how truths and untruths are presented. Ultimately, one should investigate for her or his self, and find his or her answer.
In our country's history, there have been all kinds of cover-ups and classified documents that were revealed later on. The point is, the general people are not told everything about the government's intentions.
What makes you wonder that? Why do you wonder that? What is worth it? Many people create a meaning to their lives to make it seem worth it, and it's different for every individual. Without any meaning one attaches to her or his life, then I can see why these feelings arise.
If religion is the answer, where is the peace on this planet?
Self spirituality free of dogmas and myths that separate us from the cosmos and each other while not having doctrines that instill fear (live this way/believe this way or else!) is a much more sound approach.
I watched all the related links! Fascinating for sure! Very rational people indeed! Goes to show that religious doctrines are not needed to be moral and have some value system. Also shows that materialism, flat screen tv's, and fancy name titles are not needed in that tribe to be happy!.
Again, you are isolating small incidents and magnifying them in a way that suggests that the Natives were more barbaric then harmonious. Do you even know how many Indian Tribes existed in N.America? You cherry picked what? A couple of tribes out of hundreds. And there are a couple of more, but that was in the minority. I mentioned that there was some violence with some bad apples, and you showed that. However, the Native way was much more advanced in terms of how to be harmonious with their fellow brothers and sisters as well as with Mother Earth compared to the Western world that is filled with violence and the destruction of our eco systems etc. And sacrifices for the most part were consented by those who chose to be sacrificed. This is the word of Natives, not white anthropologists.
The Natives did not have an ambition to nefariously unite and take over the globe and create some world construct that has everyone in a state of division and fear. That was the European way (wasn't intentional), it's in the history books. The Oglala Sioux say we are all related---Mitakue Oyasin. Their spirituality, for the most part, was that of harmony, unlike Western society. If you think Western philosophy of dualism and materialism is profound and has brought peace to the planet, then good for you. In general, tolerance has a long ways to go in our culture, and all these assumptions about Islam and what is going to happen in America is a projection of your biggest fear imo.
The First Amendment will always protect America from those fears, and if it's challenged, it will be defended at all costs with a serious uprising of the Americans.

Is your beautiful daughter still single? I'm I too old?
