RE: Meaning

Problem is I don't entirely live up to it.
Peaceful yea sure!
Ruler, I don't even rule what's between my legs laugh
Worthy of praise... not as often as I'd like!
cheers hug

RE: Meaning

laugh I don't think it means much of anything but it's pretty neat.

RE: Meaning

My first name means Peaceful Ruler. It's in a Nordic language and my second name is the name of the prophet of Islam and it means Worthy of Praise.
So, I'm a peaceful ruler worthy of praise grin

RE: Seeing as it's...

cheers Talking about freedom I all good and dandy but to live it is even better.

RE: Seeing as it's...

You can pick up the monthly prayer schedule at any mosque, it's very accurate to the minute. Then you know when the call is about ring out every day. grin

RE: Seeing as it's...

The fast is recommended only to healthy people. Those who cannot observe the fast due to health problems are excused.
I used to do it when I was younger but now that my whole digestive tract is out of whack my doctor advised against it.

RE: Is Suzanne Venker really anti feminist?

"...cause I have seen zero change and men are still demonised...just for being men"

We're practically in a Matriarchy now for all intents and purposes. A few more laws and the feminists would've succeeded in taking over in the all facets of society that matter.
Gused to it and move on. The important thing is to know what they're capable of and take measures to protect yourself and not be dragged in the mud. Act accordingly and be smart.
Posting all that rubbish isn't going to avail you much except paint a target on your back and make your life harder than it would've been otherwise.
Have a nice day.

RE: Seeing as it's...

Always loved the Call to Prayer thumbs up
That Mufti has an incredible voice!
Nice vid. Thanks.

RE: Why are women so unimaginative...

Remember what we said about keeping with your standards... just because she's there doesn't mean that's the one for you. That's not choice, that's a lack of options.
ButbI guess you're the one there, not me cheers

RE: Why are women so unimaginative...

Maybe he does and maybe he doesn't. Nice to exchange with him though. He doesn't insult grin

RE: I identify with

I understand that, thanks for the info hug but I want to save the breasts dunno

RE: Why are women so unimaginative...

laugh

Don't forget, women also exist outside of online dating. More often then not you're likely to find that sweet pearl in your local supermarket or library. In fact, it's much better to meet one in your town or there about. Online dating isn't what it used to be.

RE: Why are women so unimaginative...

C'mon, man! Get a hold of yourself, everyone's watching laugh
You CAN wait, you just don't know it yet. And you just might just HAVE TO anyway.
Maybe you just need to get laid, no strings attached. You know what you have to do then.

RE: Why are women so unimaginative...

I used to do that, ten years ago... Sometimes it works.
Still though, I've come to the conclusion that it's no use fishing for one, that it's much better to wait for that one message that is sincere and hopeful. That way I'm sure it'll be worth it and has a chance to last.

RE: Why are women so unimaginative...

I don't compare women to any ex. If I start thinking about an ex of mine I'm put off real quick.
I try to approach them with a clean slate and watch for flags, key words that will let me know If I'm gonna waste my time or not, if she's gonna be controlling, manipulative or not... I do try to be open-minded with each one but some flags just scream loud and clear "run!!" laugh

RE: I identify with

You sure aim high rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Why are women so unimaginative...

The thing is you can't generalize. Some women do read profiles and some of them don't. Just like us men, some if do and others don't.
Don't let the lazy ones shape your view on all women. Keep your standards high and ignore the whiny ones wine

RE: Why are women so unimaginative...

That's a scammer. Delete, move on...

RE: Why are women so unimaginative...

laugh Good one. Only I won't lower my standards. I can wait for the perfect woman for me even if it takes next never. Getting laid isn't so difficult in my neck of the woods. It's only half satisfying but I only get on my knees for ONE sentient being and they ain't it.

RE: Why are women so unimaginative...

That's because you're doing it wrong, my friend. Never ever send the first message...ever. If a woman is really interested she'll send that damn message, than you can respond in kind.
There are more women on planet earth than men. Don't let them fool ya, WE are the prize, they are not. It's simple mathematics.

RE: I identify with

Thank you for the link!!
As a man, I love breasts smitten I think they're the most beautiful part on a woman's body.
My mom died of breast cancer because they caught it too late and it spread everywhere fast.
Breast Cancer is Enemy N°1.

RE: Fellas

Naah, it's all good, for that price I get an hour with a very friendly and open-minded professional who'll smile when I leave her.

RE: Let’s make out!

laugh I can't blame ya.
I'm diggin' all of them... at the same time even better devil no spinach needed wow

RE: Let’s make out!

rolling on the floor laughing I thought the song went "put some sugar on it"

So, creamy spinach then ? banana

RE: Which One of this is Your Most Favourite Comedy Show ?

I stopped watching TV back in the early 90's, it started to feel like too much of a waste of time but before I came to that conclusion I liked:
Star Trek ( only the original series )
The A-Team
Fantastic Island
Starsky & Hutch
The Persuaders
Man from Atlantis
The Incredible Hulk
The dukes of Hazzards

RE: Forgive/Forget ?

^^^that^^^
"Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us" are not just empty words, for God will forgive us with the same measure as we have forgiven others.

RE: Why do some

I find it sad and pathetic at the same time.
Sad because the thread owner has his/her feelings hurt that no one has responded and pathetic because to hold a thread to such value shows how shallow that may be.

RE: Sticks and stones

It's true for me. I was called every name in the book and none of those names hurt me because they didn't describe me.
Yet I think if the name hits home then it can be damaging. Like 'Rohaan's exemple of calling that poor woman a name that she may have felt fit her. To call an overweight person a "fat sow/pig" is very hurtful to that person's mental health.
Sometimes, the tongue is sharper than the blade and some tongues were even instrumental in incarcerating an innocent person or even kill someone.
It's no coincidence that the Bible describes the tongue as a sharp sword. It's important to teach children to hold their tongue if they have nothing good to say. Most bullying in school is done with the tongue.

RE: Forgive/Forget ?

As I am. You do make a compelling argument cheers

RE: Forgive/Forget ?

I understand what you're saying and it makes perfect sense but really it all depends on the infraction and the person's ability to let it go.
It's easier to forgive a brother or sister than it is a stranger. It's easier to forgive something that didn't cause great harm physically or financially.
I don't if you've ever got into a physical fight with another man over some insult or misunderstanding but it happened to me a few times, and if you did, have you ever ended up being friends with that person? I have, best friends, while not two weeks prior we were ready to send each other to the hospital.
True forgiveness does exist. It's not easy but it's doable.
