You handled it the same way I would've handled it. IMO, it's called maturity, on your part. There's really no reason, being that he was honest with you, why you can't remain on friendly terms. Sometimes we gain great friends that way!
Well, yesterday was pretty good. I got to work & the boss, being my ride home, asked if I minded leaving a few hours early. It was a beautiful day outside, but what did I do?? I FELL ASLEEP!! I slept ALL NIGHT LONG!
Today looks like a promising day, but I have to work...
So far, so good! I was a few minutes late in getting to work & nobody said a word. Then, my boss asked if I minded if we leave early, as he's giving me a ride home tonight. Of course I COMPLAINED profusely!!
I'll be home alone tonight. I was supposed to meet some high school classmates for dinner, but that fell through. So... I may be on here, if my computer doesn't crash.
