I feel your pain, man. I feel that way, at times, with my father. But having lost my mom, I try to be thankful for every chance I get to spend with my only living blood parent.
Not really. Alone is just a state of mind. Luckily for me, I'm blessed with a wonderful daughter & 3 beautiful grandchildren. I'll be spending Christmas with them, my daughter's fiance, & my father. To me, it's all about family & cherishing what you DO have, not what you DON'T have.
Well, in my opinion, she was wonderful. But then, who doesn't say that about their mother? She was the glue that held our family together. She would hand out the hugs after Dad handed out the paddlings. She was very stubborn (I guess I got that from her). And she was a FIGHTER!! Sometimes, to the point of embarrassment. But God bless her for that. I don't think I'd have gotten where I am in life, if I hadn't had her encouragement. She was wonderful & one of my closest, best friends. I miss her every day.
Usually, looks are the first thing that draws you to someone. But once you get to know them, you will determine whether or not you are TRULY attracted to their personality, which, IMO, is much more important.
I've been here about 1 1/2 years. Got some great advice from many, when I needed it. I've met some wonderful people. Even traveled with one (catwomen64) to meet another (Big_John). I've even had an "internet romance" on here. It didn't work out, but I got a good friend from it. This is a pretty cool place.

Mine will be forthcoming... too many & you're doomed to failure
