Not sure. I lost my best friend a couple of months ago because she got jealous over me having a platonic friendship with her man. And now they're not even together anymore.
I think if they've been broken up & you talk to your friend about it to see their feelings, & they're fine with it, then sure. Otherwise, if it's touchy with your friend, don't even go there.
The weather's so cold & yucky today, I just keep imagining being at home, in front of my roaring fireplace, under a soft blanket... with a glass of wine & a good book.

I'm not sure if or how people can stay 100% committed in a LDR. I'm not saying the effort wouldn't be there. But 100%? Without even having met each other face-to-face? That's asking a lot. I think your heart can be with that other person, but to have a solid commitment, IMO, takes much more.
You are a very happy person. Generally, you feel content and that all is right with the world. Occasionally, you have a down day - but you have the ability to pick yourself right back up.
