Well, we were together 2 years before we got married, & then married for 5 years (we have a daughter together). It went on for TOO long. I chalk it up to being young & naive.
It's not so much WHAT his occupation would be... just that he HAS one. I know in today's economy, that nothing's certain. But I was married to a man who chose IF he wanted to work, while I was working 2 or 3 jobs at a time. I'm not footing the bill ever again.

My ex-boyfriend had a traumatic brain injury from a motorcycle accident. I had no problem with his memory problems or anything... I did, however, have a problem with his mood-swings. I know he was frustrated with his situation, but I couldn't allow myself to be his punching bag or sounding board any longer.
