RE: New guy/gal is in the picture but "suddenly" my Ex is showing interest again.

You ex is only around untill you drop the other woman and take her back, once you do that, she'll drop you like a sack of hot potatoes, so my advice to you…..stay away from the ex. If your ex wanted you, she would have shown/told you that before the other woman came into the picture.

RE: Chistmass and new year holiday ideas plz

Welding: I'm in the same situation as you are. My daughter sent me a text message this morning saying that she won't be coming home for the holidays this year, so I'll also be alone too. Guess there are a few others on here who will also be alone.

RE: Do you eat raw garlic?

I knew a guy who ate raw garlic every day, unfortunately, he didn't take a shower daily so combined with his Sweat, deodorant and aftershave, he smell too pleasant.

I only wrote all that stuff just to see how the "scammer" would reply. peace

I could have been a millionaire, if only ....

If I hadn't wasted it all on "false" friends when I was younger.

RE: who is imran khan?

A once very successful cricketer, now a pakistani politiker.

Trying to remember a song

I can't be bothered to listen to most of what they call music these days, so when I do listen to music, it's from the 50's to early 2000's

Trying to remember a song

Now I know why I couldn't find it: it's from the early 2000's and not from the 80' or 90's

Trying to remember a song

Thanks for all the help thumbs up peace

Trying to remember a song

Heureka! I've found it: It's called "Toes" by the Zack Brown Band. laugh laugh laugh

Trying to remember a song

Blade: It isn't "Kokomo", but I enjoyed listening to it again.

Trying to remember a song

Hoober: Sometimes I think the tune is at the "tip of my tongue", but then I'm not so sure as it disappears again, just as quickly as it comes.

I could have been a millionaire, if only ....

I had waited a few more days. LOL.

This weekend I was contacted by a scammer on a swedish dating site. He was 3' 5" or has he had written in his profile 6' 2". He was south european, or as he wrote: he was a german, widower, in the US Military in Afghanistan, had 40 days left before his pension, and "was looking for a beautiful swedish woman like me, to spend the rest of his life with."

I have started to enjoy writing to scammers, so I wrote back that I was unemployed, my bank account was overdrawn, I have no food to eat, my car had been reposessed by the dealership, and I was about to be thrown out of my apartment, because I hadn't paid my rent for the past 3 months.

He replied that I should send him the usual…. name, DOB, adress, e-mail, copy of pass, bank account number etc., and he would send $35m to my account, which he would share with me, as he couldn't take the money out of Afghanistan himself, and needed someone to do it for him. That was all I needed to know, so I reported him. I got a mail from the site saying that his account has been deleted.

Why am I always so impulsive? I coud have sent the information, become a millionaire, then had him deleted. Or I could have done all that, and had my bank account cleaned out. I just love scammers rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Trying to remember a song

Hoober, no, it's similar to "Escape". I don't remember the name of your song either.

Trying to remember a song

Once again this weekend I was on "a trip back down memory lane" listening to Music from the 80's -90's and I've been trying to remember the name of a song, but can't. Maybe someone in the forums can help me? If I remember correctly, the guy is walking bare foot on the beach, in a hawaiian shirt, a straw hat and drinking a cocktail. I know it's not " Escape = If you like pina coladas", but it has a similar drift. Thanks

RE: Should couples who breakup remain friends?

Friskyone: Thank you, it took time and forgiveness on both parts, and I think it is also a good lesson for our children…...they're all adults now.

You decide.

Make sure you get every single word right!
Read the following passage and then scroll down for
further instructions at the end. Read loudly to yourself now read:-

This is this cat
This is is cat
This is how cat
This is to cat
This is keep cat
This is a cat
This is fool cat
This is busy cat
This is for cat
This is forty cat
This is seconds cat

Now read the THIRD word in each line then you will understand what is funny in this.

RE: October - 2

In Sweden they celebrate cinnamon roll day on the 04 october.

RE: Should couples who breakup remain friends?

Except for 1 of my exes, I still have some form of vocal contact with the others as the relationships didn't end on bad terms. My exhusband has even become one of my best friends.

RE: What is your favorite state you have visited?

I've visited my own "state" of mind many times, but unfortunately, you don't have it on the list laugh

RE: Iceland

No, Switzerland is also trying.

RE: Having Free Loaders

No Daniela: I would only let someone off the internet stay with me after we have met a 4 or 5 times, before that, they always have to stay in a hotel, then we start with maybe a weekend at my place, but in seperate bedrooms.

On that note, once a guy invited himself to come and visit me, he stayed at a hotel. When we met and got chatting he mentioned that he had also visited another woman who lived across town. Some men ar just like that….make plans to meet more than 1 woman from the same town whilst visiting.

RE: Having Free Loaders

A weekend or 4 days max, but not more, especially if it's someone I don't really know well.

RE: One thing

Wine

RE: Let's. Be honest.........

Thanks Peter, I'll come one day…...when you least expect it (I wasn't expecting it). Just have faith and patience. Anne.

RE: Let's. Be honest.........

I'm a christian, and go to church most if not every sunday. To answer your Question: On the 4 december last year, I sat in church listening to the preacher, suddenly I found myself fighting to hold back my tears, I left my seat and went to the toilet to "calm" myself abit, went back to my seat, and felt all teary eyed all through out the rest of the sermon and until I got home .

I don't remember a word that the preacher said, all I could remember is that I suddenly felt a need to contact all my family again, after over 30 years. I called my brother, whose number (luckily) hadn't changed over the years, from him I got numbers to family members in the Caribbean, USA, Canada, UK and even South America. I'm now very, very happy to have been reunited with my family, I didn't miss them when we didn't have contact, but they missed me (and as most of them said, they had often wondered if I was dead or alive), now we are in contact every week…..all thanks to the priest and a sermon that I can't remember, but I will never forget sunday 04 december 2018 or the name of the priest whose sermon made me forgive and forget my (bad) past history with my family, and made me reach out to them.

Codes, codes, codes

Like some people have their social security numbers or that of other family members as a tattoo on their arms.

Codes, codes, codes

Rohaan: I was only wondering if others are sometimes in the same situation. I never said I have it all sorted out.....If I did, I wouldn't panic sometimes like eg. when I'm at the bancomat or using my card for shopping.cheers
