Doctor with 4 Degrees from MIT Claims ‘Deep State’ Is Using Coronavirus To Push Its Agenda

Mike Lofgren, a congressional staff member for 28 years, joins Bill Moyers to talk about what he calls Washington's "Deep State," in which elected and unelected figures collude to protect and serve powerful vested interests. "It is how we had deregulation, financialization of the economy, the Wall Street bust, the erosion or our civil liberties and perpetual war," Lofgren tells Moyers.

Doctor with 4 Degrees from MIT Claims ‘Deep State’ Is Using Coronavirus To Push Its Agenda

I believe the dr.'s 'deep state' meaning is pretty much what we all think of when we hear the words 'deep state'.
A body of people, typically influential members of government agencies or the military, believed to be involved in the secret manipulation or control of government policy.

RE: Stay in reality and keep your feet on the ground

Yes the Corona virus.
When people are asked (some forced) to stay at home to avoid spreading the virus , businesses shut down. If no one is producing a capital market will correct itself, in this case downward. There's also panic selling: Get out now and buy again on the rebound and double our money.

Since Obama got rid of the Glass/Steagal Act (in place since 1933)
The term Glass–Steagall Act, however, is most often used to refer to four provisions of the Banking Act of 1933 that limited commercial bank securities activities and affiliations between commercial banks and securities firms ( Security Firms = MARKET SPECULATORS)

The price of oil is down because Putin is undermining Saudi and American production by flooding the market.
Oil is Russia's #1 asset on the world market. Also Russia knows that fracking oil is expensive and not worth the trouble if oil gets too cheap, thereby wrecking this U.S industry and causing massive lay offs.

Corporations GOT THE TAX BREAK. Corporations are owned by shareholders like you and me. (Yes rich people own more shares but that's besides the point).
Corporations held billions of dollars in foreign banks as the previous GOVERNMENTAL administration would tax that money at high rate 35% should it come back, therefore those corporations left those BILLIONS to sit idly by in a foreign bank NOT benefitting the American people.
Worse yet, foreign governments were using that money to BOLSTER THEIR CURRENCIES (that in some cases were worthless) or purchase REAL assets and weapons of war.
When Trump nixed the high tax rate (which you erroneously describe as a 'tax cut for the rich') that money came flooding back to the U.S. coffers creating the best boom in the U.S. economy since WW2.

All this is really geo-politics 101. Where have you been for the past 10 years?

RE: Argentina on Total Lockdown !!!

That's about the same here too. No curfew tho. Well, not yet.
I figured out a few things about Walmart trucks. Milk comes in around 2 pm (CST) and paper towels first thing in the morning. They limit you to 1 roll of 2 each. Still having problems finding fresh eggs and butter. Altho I have sugar I decided to buy some more and grabbed 2 Four lb bags. The checkout lady said there's a limit of only 1 bag per customer. I picked up some shrimp (prawns) for protein. I'll probably make a shrimp creole over rice tonight.
So far instead of shopping once a week as I usually do... I find myself shopping every other day to see whats in. I suppose it'll become daily if they don't put out more protein. All they had were Bison ground meat at $9 a pound! I passed.
Couldn't help but think while seeing all the empty shelves... This is what Argentina socialism looks like.
Hang in there Kidwell.

You are so correct. And wise. hug

RE: We have seen the worst in human nature

I might add also in full disclosure that prepping for every scenario caused me to have a minor breakdown.
I actually went and saw a therapist over it (2018) and eventually I had a breakthrough.
Putting oneself under such extreme 'doomsday' type thinking and thought processes 24/7 IS NOT MENTALLY HEALTHY.
I had to come to grips with the fact that I can't control the world events. So if you do prep... do so wisely.
Do so from a good place in your heart... a place of love. Not one of fear.
I have accepted that I can not be 'all that' and nor should I try. I will do my best... and probably fall short.

RE: We have seen the worst in human nature

Thanks Jono, and a correction is needed... I didn't mean a pandemic is nothing. I meant to say having prepped for every scenario... a pandemic was the least of my worries, but I purposely overlapped my preps to cover a pandemic as well since blocking out radioactive fall out is akin to blocking out biological agents.
So for me and my house... we are well prepared that a pandemic isn't a big scare.

RE: We have seen the worst in human nature

You err. Expiration dates were mandated by the Government to indicate BY THE MAKER of the product the optimum time to for that product to be used. In other words on the side of any product is usually a list of ingredients and how much volume of each ingredient is used (or in food how many calories). The expiration date ONLY CONFIRMS THE AMOUNT on the label, NOT whether the item is still useful or not.
If a company lists an expiration date... it is saying the product inside is GUARANTEED to be insync w/ the label on the outside. That's all.
I am old enough to remember when products didn't have expiration dates and they were fine. Just make sure the container isn't wonky. Bulging cans, leaky tubes, etc.

No ( hoarding on the paper towels). I bought a bundle (25) cotton/linen hand/kitchen/tea towels this past Saturday and will use them for cleaning daily. Then simply wash as needed and reuse.

I have... my goodness... 100 bars minimum of soap. First it was antibacterial soaps, then anti-deodorant soaps, then good ol' Ivory soaps, then Yardley Lavender and other nice smelling soaps, then... charcoal soaps for any skin rashes and then surgical soaps. But just as important … I was at an industrial auction and bought concentrated liquid soaps in large containers where 1 cup of concentrate mixed w/ water makes 3 gallons of liquid soap. (This auction also had the hand sanitizer mentioned earlier).

Laundry Soap. I make my own. What you spend on one large box of Tide... I can make 2 years worth of laundry soap. Since this is PURE soap I can also use it on dishes etc. Should power go out I have a wringer wash bucket and clothes line and pins to do laundry.

Here's the formula to make laundry soap its so easy I've saved hundreds of dollars over the years.

Like I've said I have it all. I prepared for a NUCLEAR ATTACK. Including Gamma ray fall out. A pandemic is NOTHING.

RE: What do you miss the most after being home so much because of the coronavirus fear

I'm pretty much like a spayed house cat. I enjoy being a home body. Reading a good book, or watching my fav sports or tv shows. Playing around on the computer. Boring perhaps, but I have nothing to prove.

The first half of my life was very exciting and fulfilling. If I died tomorrow I would be content.
This second half is a more sanguine time in my life. I actually stop AND smell the roses these days.
Afterwards I am so appreciative.
I have enough 'projects' around the house to keep me busy for months.
I'm actually my own best friend (and worst enemy) so I actually enjoy being by myself and alone with my thoughts.
Life has been good, and I thank God everyday for the blessings I receive.

CNN Contributor Rick Wilson Suggests Melania Trump Should ‘Be Infected’ With Coronavirus

CNN contributor Rick Wilson emerged from his parent’s basement long enough to tweet a message suggesting Melania Trump should “be infected” with coronavirus.

Wilson, a former GOP strategist who loves to shower himself with negative attention from Trump supporters and not much else, responded to a CNN article addressing the First Lady’s appearance in several PSAs advising Americans on how they “can protect themselves and those most at risk” of being exposed to the virus.
The gutter-dwelling never-Trumper responded with a simple hashtag playing off the name of Mrs. Trump’s ‘Be Best’ initiative.
“#BeInfected,” he wrote.

Naturally, there was widespread outrage to Wilson’s comments from all hemispheres of the social network.
“This is the most insidious hateful rhetoric of anyone who exists in political punditry. Rick Wilson is wishing Coronavirus on Melania Trump,” wrote The Hill’s Joe Concha.
“It is despicable,” he concluded. “He deserves no platform.”
And yet, CNN gives him an ample platform.
Steve Cortes, a former CNN contributor himself, called Wilson “a disgusting creep.”
Which is an early candidate for ‘Understatement of the Year.’

As is typically the case with this insecure, little man, Wilson had no intention of backing down and played his typical ‘I didn’t mean it that way’ shtick.
“As noted several times, it was a play off her failed #BeBest campaign, but the Trump outrage machine needs feeding,” he complained.
“Part of the outrage machine will be breathless stories on all the usual suspect sites saying ‘Wilson wished Melania would get COVID’ off a one-word tweet,” Wilson also griped.
He dismissed such criticism from anybody who would not seek direct comment from him on the matter. As if to say people aren’t smart enough to interpret his juvenile little hashtag.

You know, for a self-fantasizing intellectual superpower, Wilson does some really stupid things.
Writing the words “be infected” and then feigning surprise when people interpret it as you wishing Melania Trump would actually “be infected” is a really “boomer rube” move.
But yea, that guy with all of his ‘books and maps and stuff’ likes to look down on others …

Wilson recently just fell for a very obviously fake tweet in an attempt to smear President Trump over the stock market. A stock market struggling directly due to the coronavirus crisis.
The elevator doesn’t exactly go to the top floor in Wilson’s head, does it?
Aside from the condescension, this CNN contributor is actively cheering on market chaos and hoping the First Lady gets infected with the coronavirus.

He enjoys Americans suffering as long as it reflects poorly on the man that haunts his nightmares, President Trump. Guess that makes him the perfect CNN guest.

Doctor with 4 Degrees from MIT Claims ‘Deep State’ Is Using Coronavirus To Push Its Agenda

According to a report from Western Journal, Shiva Ayyadurai is a scientist with four degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who claims the coronavirus outbreak is being used by the “Deep State.”
To clarify, Ayyadurai does NOT claim the disease is man-made or a hoax. There is significant research on coronavirus having natural origins and remains a very real and dangerous disease, particularly to those who are immunocompromised or elderly.

Americans should continue to follow the rules from doctors, federal, state and local governments and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Instead, Ayyadurai claims the ‘Deep State’ and some in the government are using the pandemic for their own purposes, the Western Journal reports.
“As an MIT PhD in Biological Engineering who studies & does research nearly every day on the Immune System,” Ayyadurai writes, “the coronavirus fear-mongering by the Deep State will go down in history as one of the biggest fraud to manipulate economies, suppress dissent, & push MANDATED Medicine!” he said.

Commentary and opinion from Western Journal:

Think about what has transpired in less than a week’s time. We have handed control of nearly everything in our lives to the government.
In many places, they are telling us when we can leave our homes and when we must return to them.
They have decided what events or religious services we can attend, how many people are allowed to be there and which businesses are allowed to stay open.
In the process, the global economy has crashed with the assistance of the media stirring everyone into a mass panic.
People are hoarding and fighting over toilet paper as if it is the cure for COVID-19 and grabbing every canned and dry food they can find.
Again, this is a very real disease and it can be dangerous, particularly to those who are immunocompromised or elderly.
That said, the panic shopping and fear that many of us feel are not helping any of us.
Is Ayyadurai incorrect? If a vaccine for coronavirus was available tomorrow, do you not believe that the government could, and would, mandate that everyone get it?…
Many schools and workplaces already mandate the flu shot. Now imagine the government requiring that citizens take the medicine they are told to.
