I don't believe it's gender based... as it is more stupidity based. Perhaps SOME men have a hard time articulating preferences without coming across as rudely obtuse. And perhaps SOME women fail to realize that the bloom is off their rose and its easier to blame men's attitudes than to admit that she now looks like Sean Connery.
Its ok. I'm not the rock n' roll stud I used to be either. (Which is why I wear REAL NICE clothes)
We all just need to ease up on each other and enjoy things the way they are. There are some very interesting Sean Connerys on here. LOLOLOLOLOL I crack myself up.
My wife (RIP) was a master at dealing with rude people. She wielded comebacks like a Samurai with a sword. And NEVER once used profanity. I learned a lot from her. LOL.
Here are a few examples that come to mind. Oh how I used to laugh at the stuff she'd come up with. If you knew her you loved her. I truly was her biggest fan. Enjoy and feel free to use them.
A rude customer service agent "I realize until they can train monkey's to do your job that you have job security... but until then I'll need to speak with your supervisor"
A rude sales clerk (who said she would have to hang the clothes back up after trying them on) "Honey, you forget your place in this world. You see, that's why I shop here and that's why you work here"
If someone asked a question and the answer was none of their business or too personal "If I thought that was any of your business I would've volunteered the information" or if she didn't want for them to feel too much like an idiot she'd say.. "Why do you ask?" They would answer whatever...or just curious and then she would pensively say "Mmmm' as if thinking about it and just walk away. LOL.
If someone asked for a favor that went against her sense of fairness "How many R's in fat chance?"
Unexpected company (whom she didn't like) dropping by at ridiculous hours. "Well look here. We have unexpected company at this hour. You know what they say...Unexpected company is exactly that... unexpected. Please call first" ::SLAM ::
There were so many comebacks. She was great just off the top of her head.
Lord help any woman who flirted with me. She could cut them off at the knees with just a look , and I swear they'd shrink away. Imagine someone that looked like Fran Drescher with a wit like Joan Rivers. That was her.
To this day I live for uncomfortable moments dealing with rude people, it brings back great memories.
LONDON (AP) — The family of drummer Ginger Baker, the volatile and propulsive British musician who was best known for his time with the power trio Cream, says he has died. He was 80.
Baker's family said on Twitter that he died Sunday: "We are very sad to say that Ginger has passed away peacefully in hospital this morning." Gary Hibbert, a media representative for Baker's family, confirmed his death. Baker wielded his blues power and jazz technique to help break open popular music and become one of the world's most admired and feared musicians. With his blazing eyes, orange-red hair and fiery temperament, Baker ranked with Keith Moon of The Who as the embodiment of musical fury and uncontrollable personality.
Tommy Lee Jones lives here. So does Cheryl Ladd. George Strait. Alice from the Brady Bunch ('memba her?) but she passed not too long ago. Stone Cold Steve Austin lived here for awhile. Eva Longoria but she remarried and is now gone. Earl Holliman (from Police Woman), Margarita... The lady whom the Margarita cocktail was named after is in a assisted living center here. You'll always run into someone.
I've been to many states except for the west coast. I find that they all are beautiful. We live in a great country. However while I wasn't born in Texas... I got here as soon as I could.
Yesterday (Friday) Chili and it was good. Tonight... fried clams and seasoned French fries. It was good too! Tommorrow… undecided. Probably a pork roast. I'll have to get back to you on that.
I did find this yummy recipe for SALISBURY STEAKS. Which I will try sometime soon
Wow! or maybe DOUBLE Wow! What a spirited meeting. It feels great to be a united with other American patriots. THIS is what America is all about! United we stand.
RE: Why is there so much other-gender hatred in the cs forums ?
