You said the virus box kept popping up but you didnt click it ? sorry its probably already in your puter now ,they dont need to click it just navigating to their page is bad enough .If your looking for a long term solution to stop this happening the best thing is to start with Spybot (all freeware) that program can handle anything even trojans .The blue screen happens when your puter has trouble running a certain program (especially in start up) have a look around your windows 32 files if you can ,most virus or trojan applications start from there ,you can delete it yourself too which is good if you dont have a program to do it for you .
The blue screen could also mean you need a reboot .
