For me, death of a loved one was one of the most difficult events of my life...that level of pain and loss changes you...once you know what that pain is like, it tends to put other things into perspective.
Life’s transitions…..What do you think are the most important and possibly most difficult and/or fulfilling transitions in life and why do you say so? (If I have forgotten one, please add it.)
a. From childhood into teenage years b. Being a teenager c. From being a teenager to being an adult d. Your first real job e. Getting married and starting a family f. Divorce or being widowed g. Death of a very close loved one h. Middle age for both men and woman i. Menopause for women j. Over 50 for both men and women k. Reaching retirement age….65 traditionally l. Facing the last years of your life….75 plus
To me negative energy is not letting go of anger and/or unhappy feelings...misery.....negative feelings about a situation, a person, even negative feelings about yourself.
People who want to get revenge or put others down, or who feel sorry for themselves....well a lot of things I guess...but it is the hanging onto it and not letting go that gets me.
We all have bad moments, days...all have people we don't like...but just friggin' walk away from it....don't let it take over your moment, your day, your life.
Well, my philosopy is to ignore .... negativity has got to feed off something, if it is ignored...it moves on. I am not always able to ignore it, but I try...
Well, I think when you are feeling negative energy, try to get rid of it....and move on....some people get wrapped up in it and live in a little cocoon of negativity.....spewing their negative thoughts and feeling out on all around them...when it gets that bad...it's a total waste of time and energy and life...
