RE: kinda introducing myself:D

Last year Iworked with several people from BC and they said 'eh' all the time...confused

RE: kinda introducing myself:D

I have worked with Canadians a lot over the past few years since I've been overseas....people from BC, Ontario, Nova Scotia....they all seem pretty much the same to me...Don't know about Alberta though...

I certainly wouldn't want to generalize and be wrong....God forbid....tongue laugh roll eyes

RE: kinda introducing myself:D

Actually, Canadian and American English is almost identical...I am American and work with lots of Canadians all the time...can't really tell the difference in accent most of the time....a few words are pronounced differently, and Canadians say 'eh' all the time...thumbs up

RE: kinda introducing myself:D

Sorry, this is for Kissme....and you know what I mean, eh???

RE: kinda introducing myself:D

Canadians have accents, just like everyone else...I was teasing him...thumbs up

Part 2: The Say Something thread.. say something to someone. (and how about no arguing on it?)

They are just shy guys who admire you...send a flower or something and see what happens....dunno if it's an appealing guy...

I think you are probably right...same thing with weight...most men don't care if a woman is a bit overweight...or imperfect physically...

The First Meeting

The First Meeting

The First Meeting

I think it depends on the woman....

seriously, our culture makes too much out of the size of breasts...lots of men like smaller ones...so...everyone is different...when i did a thread on it...they said they didn't care about the size or most like smaller ones..but almost all like natural ones of any size..

RE: Tell us about an Internet date you had, or you don't have any?

cheering applause

The First Meeting

well, you do have to be attracted to someone...it's true and honest...

The First Meeting

Why not? was she that fat, old, ugly?

The First Meeting

dunno confused

The First Meeting

Well, if people are not honest when you are getting to know them on-line and on the phone...yeah, you can pretty much expect the first meeting to not go well...So, it doesn't really make sense for someone to lie and pretend....Maybe people will read stuff like this and realize they need to be as honest and forthcoming as possible before meeting someong. I had another guy say the pictures of women looked 10 years younger than the woman really was. This was an older guy who was looking to date women his age 45-55. I think women post flattering pictures...it's very competitive out there...And they want to be thinner than they are....if she had been honest about her weight, would you have wanted to meet her anyway? If the pictures were more honest, would you have been interested?

The First Meeting

yep....everything except actually meeting in person...to me that is all basically electronic....

RE: Tim Russert....dead at 58!!
