Written by Billy Vera and recorded live by Billy Vera & The Beaters. First released as a single on Alfa records in 1981 , it reached #79 on the Hot 100. Exposure on Family Ties TV sitcom during the 1985-86 season renewed interest in the song. Rhino Records purchased the song from the Alfa label and re-issued the original version as Rhino 74403, it reached #1 on both the Hot 100 and AC charts in January 1987. The song reached #40 Country and #70 R&B, one of the last Gold-certified singles in the 45 RPM format.

I really like it...It came in handy many times for hauling things..the back seats fold down...

Now way, would I sell it or trade it in now...There is no inventory of cars here....new or used.

The good gas mileage is definitely a plus now.

No, it is not the gun’s fault....Having said that...semi-automatic weapons in the hands of 18 year-olds...makes one think something needs to change.

I actually agree with you....

My thoughts on it...he needs to take the blame for not getting the role as Jack Sparrow...from his drug addictions...pretty simple...but, it did get both of the the attention they crave....

Both are messed up people.

Parenting classes mandatory for all who give birth...

Men and women being mothers and fathers....in other words, you make the child....you give the child love from both parents...

Oh, and birth control for those who do not want to be accountable to society for the children they make.

Mental health for adults, who are of child bearing age..so, they have a chance to be good role models..
