Noble sentiments indeed Larry and probably music to the ears of a multitude of wimmin here, for sure. But when you write stuff like that, I get an awful urge to slap you. Forgive me.
Or do they prefer a rational, polite and measured sign of interest? In this modern age, do women really want olde-style Romeo gushing effusive lines of Victorian silliness below a balcony, or do they prefer a more direct, realistic, and contemporary initiation of contact? If you want 'woke' men, don't expect olde-worlde troubadours, would be the issue, no?
I agree. Why don't we round up all the gays, lesbians, p*dophile priests, and those dodgy left-handed writers, and burn them all at the stake? We could get the Spanish to do it. Finally, America would get the Spanish Inquisition! Only problem is, you'd have to give back California and Texas.
This school has brought back analog paper, pens and hand-writing as a way to make students actually think for themselves, instead of indulging in the copy/paste culture. Apparently, the physical process and tempo of handwriting promotes the development of minds and original opinions. Your thoughts?
Now before you google the subject, give me your off-the-cuff opinion....
Not to detract from the important events mentioned previously, but - maybe the most significant event in human history, is the one which made human history possible at all. The Chicxulub asteroid wiped out all the megafauna in the post-impact nuclear winter. In that, 75% of plant life, and all the dinosaurs died off. The resulting vacuum gave rise to the conditions which allowed the rise of new life forms, one of which was the evolution of homo sapien. Other than that, the invention of alcohol is certainly right up there in importance.
Do women want to be hunted, wooed, serenaded...?
Admit it....in Stella's place, you would have done the same....But let's agree - one of Brando's finest performances.
