Apparently a lot of men who are closet gays desperately want to have 'regular' lives, so they do the things that society expects of them. Getting married, having kids etc. It seems some of them cannot handle living a lie forever, so they come out. Thinking about it, it must be an awful way to live....like, you've got this secret that you have to hide from the world.
I love vinegar. I use it to clean everything....instead of vicious destructive chemicals. Clean my espresso machine, toilets, washing machine, drains... How about balsamico??....what would a salad be without it? And of course the mildest version of a 'vinegar' - lemon juice. I juice everything with it.
So true. I only realised later that the greatest gift parents can bestow on children is confidence. Without that, you are sending damaged goods out into the world.
Privelages? (sic)....seriously, rare for me tbh, but my one overriding privilege, is being raised by parents who gave me the feeling that I were talented, full of potential. Flawed, perhaps, but talented. This gives one the belief that, because the world inside the family circle is positive and supportive, the wider world without will be simply a larger version thereof. Becoming an adult means embracing the realisation that that is not the case.
