I predict the world will still be fighting senseless wars, greedy egoists will be suppressing the people, and manipulating democracies. Ie, nothing will change, except the technology. Either that, or else humankind will have annihilated itself, and the earth would enter many long centuries to reconstitute it's balanced ecosystem. Mother Earth would be far better off without us.
But surely the decline is built into the natural entropic nature of the sine curve? How does one deny a life-cycle? Shouldn't we embrace the last hurrah and let China get on with it?
