Yes, we need financial/work ethic discipline taught at home. But equally important, how about teaching schoolkids money/budgeting management at school!!!???...instead of Algebra and Geometry, both of which I have never used since the age of 18.
Our opinions and beliefs are formed by what we hear and read. Online media has been hijacked by players large and small to influence public opinion. The Gretha Thunberg case is a salient example. Either she is a true-blue eco-kid with ethics on a mission, or she's an agent of the new Green capitalists. Or something else. For every event or opinion online, there is it's equal and opposite conspiracy theory.
How does one find the truth in this jungle of spin?
Social media allows anti-social behaviour with impunity. There are a lot of damaged people here who bring their neurosis to the forum. There's probably also too much vodka.
