Hi Everyone! Just wanted to say hi to old friends, and new friends to come. I took a little hiatus, and now I'm back. Good to see the old faces as well as the new. Good to be back!
I am a caregiver to a 96 year old man, for the past year and a half. He is pretty independent,just needs me because of a failing memory. And I tell you, he gives me as much as I give him. I love sitting around listening to all the history he, and his friends have lived through. At this point I am like one of the family. So yes I am attached. I think one of his saddest remarks has been, the problem with getting this old is,all your friends die on you. I think my most important job is, staying positive and keeping his spirits up.
How about the shining, or the original House on Haunted Hill, with Vincent Price? I also like a good Psychological thriller. Love the build up of suspense.
I am originally from Belefonte, PA. I moved to Linwood,Pa., right outside of Philadelphia. I have resided in Kill Devil Hills,NC for the past 12 years.
I work with a 98 year old man everyday. Fortunately I can work around my childrens schedule. While my boss is sleeping, I check into cs to get my chuckle for the afternoon.
