RE: The damage feminism has done to women and society

I don't believe you, daniela, I'm certain you could ravage if you wanted to.

RE: The damage feminism has done to women and society

My greatest fantasy is to be ravaged by feminists. Damage me, damage me! elephant

RE: The damage feminism has done to women and society

Please explain to me, Lee, how something can be both near and distant. confused

And when you inevitably come to realise what a total nob head you are, there will be a very loud CS chorus of "we told you so".

RE: The damage feminism has done to women and society

Yes, they may well be, but they don't represent feminism. They are extremists, and are not representative of the majority of feminists. Their attitude towards men deserves condemning in the same way that your attitude towards women deserves condemning. You are no better than them.

RE: End of this world, who will survive?

Yes, I thought the very same thing after I'd read it.

RE: Advice needed

You start by being reasonable. Ask them politely to keep the noise down. If they don't respond to your reasonable request, then the next step would be to get a solicitor to send them a letter saying that you are prepared to take legal action against them if they continue to be a nuisance. In most cases this is usually enough to resolve the problem. If, however, they persist with their antisocial behaviour, then rather than actually going through the slow and costly legal process to resolve the issue, you would probably find it far more satisfactory to simply poison or shoot them.

Is blocking access to your attic not a feasible option?

RE: Have you ever gone thru mid age crisis?

No, I haven't gone through it, I'm still in the midst of it. And when I've finished going through it, I don't think I will want to talk about. scold

RE: If a pay you a compliment...will you flirt with me? Women only:)

I wondered what your excuse would be. grin

RE: If a pay you a compliment...will you flirt with me? Women only:)

I have offered to debate you before and you ignored the challenge.

You set out your argument to justify your attitude towards women and I will debate you on it. No insults, no name calling, just the arguments. Here's your chance to show how inferior I am.

RE: If a pay you a compliment...will you flirt with me? Women only:)

You should get your book of grammar out while you're at it. roll eyes

RE: will trumps divide and conquer approach with uk succeed.?

Any country letting itself become dependant on coming to a favourable trading agreement with Trump's America will have their nose cut off for them.

RE: will trumps divide and conquer approach with uk succeed.?

Well then on behalf of Britain, I just want to say, sorry America. sad flower

RE: "Spiritual But Not Religious"

If you say so, Katamaran. comfort

RE: "Spiritual But Not Religious"

I don't say science is always trustworthy. Science is done by people, and some people have agendas that go beyond impartial enquiry. I trust it a damned site more than I trust religion, though.

It's all very well trusting yourself, but unless you are a hermit living in the middle of nowhere, all alone, then from time to time, you have to trust others as well.

RE: What is England known for...?

Actually, it is flicking the switch down and all the lights going out that is unbearable. blushing

I'm such a scatterbrain. giggle

RE: What is England known for...?

Indeed it does. The thought of flicking the switch up and all the lights going out is more than I can bear. uh oh

RE: What is England known for...?

I have lived there all my life, and, on the contrary, it makes perfect sense. idea lightbulb

RE: "Spiritual But Not Religious"

I can live with that, as long as I remain unaware of it.

RE: "Spiritual But Not Religious"

I agree with that, which is why I try to lurk in full view.

RE: "Spiritual But Not Religious"

Obviously, optimism isn't a key feature of your particular brand of spiritualism. If you must base your life on a fantasy, I wonder what on Earth made you pick that one. confused

RE: "Spiritual But Not Religious"

I don't understand quantum physics, but I am prepared to accept it. That is because I trust the scientific establishment who do understand it. I can't think of any good reason to trust either those who wrote the Bible or those who translated and interpreted it. A great deal of subjectivity was involved in both those processes.

RE: "Spiritual But Not Religious"

How on Earth did you know it was me? confused wink

RE: "Spiritual But Not Religious"

Now that falls into a third category, the name of which I don't know. Wildly fanciful, yet not spiritual.

RE: "Spiritual But Not Religious"

When things happen for no reason that is known about, "spiritual" people tend to take it as further confirmation of some fanciful belief they already hold. An unspiritual person might just think that there must be a reason for it even though they don't know what it is, and that if they did know what it was, it would turn out to be something mundane.
