RE: What is a judgemental person?

Yet when you compare the different meaning between discrimination and discernment suddenly they don't sound so synonymous anymore....

RE: Deep people...

rolling on the floor laughing

RE: There is no mind.

laugh laugh obviously your many years of study didn't help to 'fully realise' humour ... grin Is that to be expected? Mmmmmm not so sure ... many pratising Buddhists have a great sense of humour grin

RE: What is a judgemental person?

Disagree ... we don't need discrimination...

We do however need discernment ...

RE: The noise behind silence

Both are valuable to highly sensitive people who feel external vibrational 'noise' ... when there isn't any, like during the full 'confinement period we had in Spain, it feels like a holiday for the senses.

RE: There is no mind.

So tell us ... in the non mind that doesn't function within your non body, how is life not treating you these days that don't actually exist since time is not linear?

RE: How would you react if someone proposed to you for dating?

I've been propositioned many times laugh

By both genders uh oh

A couple of times indicently without a doubt wow

RE: How would you react if someone proposed to you for dating?

RE: How would you react if someone proposed to you for dating?

I think that you either hit it off with someone or you don't whether it's online or in RL.
I'd be happy to meet someone just don't think it'll happen on CS. Mind you, you never know rolling on the floor laughing

I'm just not actively 'looking' ...

My answer is to not just hope for online meetings but to go out and do activities and may be cultivate a diverse circle of friends. People know people and invite them to events, gatherings etc... I'm forever hopeful grin

RE: own experience and other's experience.

I would say humans rarely learn from the experience of others. Too arrogant. Humans think ''it won't happen to THEM''

On the other hand people/spirits connected to source can benefit from the wisdom available to them depending on their level of perception and sensitivity.
I think...

RE: How would you react if someone proposed to you for dating?

Well if a man 'proposed to me', in your sense of the term, and all he was interested in was my beauty, I would be pretty pissed off and tell him to go buy a barbie doll. (We're practically the same size laugh ).
And if he was interested in other facets of 'me' apart from my looks, he'd better have more substance to him than just economic and social prosperity. After all, if he was to 'loose it all' he needs to have ''stand alone substance''... character and characteristics that can't disppear even with an empty bank account and no social standing... Now, that's a man.

RE: calm-mind vs disturbed-mind

First of all I disagree with the term ''disturbed mind'' in the context you are using it.
Agitated would be a better description.

Secondly, having emotions/feelings and expressing them is not a sign of a ''disturbed mind''.
The way in which those emotions are expressed are important though. A way of expressing one's anger for example could be to say (even shout) ''I feel too angry to talk about this right now'' and so even though the person feels agitated they won't ''act upon their anger to harm someone or be verbally abusive'' even though they feel angry.
Same for other emotions. It's not feeling those emotions that makes anyone ''disturbed'' but rather how aware they are of those emotions and how they ''manage'' them.

The ''right assessment'' of a person is how they manage their emotions (Emotional Intelligence) not to never have emotions ...
In my opinion ...

RE: Should Medical Doctors everywhere wear uniforms that identify their sponsors?

Glad to see that TM. Thanks for the link.
Not sure if this friend I was talking about got his facts wrong or whether treatments have changed in the last few years.
Whichever way I'm glad to read that I was mis-informed and that all diabetics receive full NHS care in the UK.
handshake

RE: Should Medical Doctors everywhere wear uniforms that identify their sponsors?

Yes ...
Although some treatments are not 'available' under the NHS.

I had a retired English friend living here in Spain, who had diabetes and was going blind. He needed a procedure -to save his eyes- that could only be performed by a highly skilled surgeon.
In the UK that procedure was not avalaible under the NHS because it was 'deemed too expensive' and he would have gone blind. Yet here in Spain that procedure is available under the Spanish NHS and he was able to have it and have his eyesight saved. Most diabetic people in the UK may not be aware that there is treatment that couple improve the quality of their life but they don't have access to it under the NHS.

Just an example to show that there exists 'financially imposed limitations' in any NHS system in any country that would affect the level of treatment people may receive (or not) at times.

RE: Do you want me to be happy?

May be ...but some people seem to have made an art forme out of being miserable Victor Mildrew fashion... laugh

RE: Do you want me to be happy?

Right! Now I get you! And yes I agree to a certain extend. We do have some control over what we choose to spend time 'dwelling on'... and we can discover how we can always find something to feel sorry for or always find something to feel grateful for. Depending on which we spend more time focussing on it will affect our 'state of happiness', raising or lowering our mood...

RE: You are you and I am me.

It's just a way of speech because not everyone perceives the spirit world

RE: Do you want me to be happy?

My question to Pedro was about how hw defines happiness for others...

A child chasing a butterfly is happiness for the child in that moment ... the child may be crying hyterically 2 minutes later because the butterfly got away... then what?

dunno

RE: Do you want me to be happy?

That doesn't really answer my questions...
Reason I ask is because I used to have friend who used to say to me ''I just want you to be happy, then proceed to enumerate a list of things she wanted for me''. And it used to make me furious because she just listed the things that would make HER happy and projected them onto my life.
Same as when parents project their ''wishes for a happy life'' onto their children, meaning get a job they approve of, get married, have children, blah blah blah. Well their children might have a different idea of what being happy means.

Hence my questions to you ...

RE: Do you want me to be happy?

Ok Pedro ... define happiness then... how do you see people being happy? What visions spring to mind as you think of everyone being happy? conversing

RE: You are you and I am me.

thumbs up

RE: Do you want me to be happy?

It's not my right to want anything for you Pedro.

It's for you to decide who you want to be and what you want for yourself. And then I would wish for you to get the support and guidance (and patience and perseverance) you need in order for you to acheive it.

RE: childhood habits

I always used to find 'a space' or wander off to be 'by myself/with myself'. I still spend time by myself/with myself every single day even when I'm with people, family or relatives...

RE: You are you and I am me.

In the spiritual world there is no seperation ...
Consciousness just is and belongs to no individual awareness in particular...

RE: What is one's consciousness?

Are you talking about one's consciousness or Universal consciousness?
Many people are aware of counsciousness not just within the boundaries of human limitations of the world around them and their interaction within it'.
