Well "home made" olive oil was not a thing as such as there has always been a "mill" of some sorts where there are olive groves... but now there are a few small "olive press machines" ranging from 80 something euros to 400 ish ... Don't know how good they are... the stones can be kept for using as pellets for stoves ...
Enough olives to make oil will be way heavier to transport on my broom than making the oil and bringing the oil... I think the way forward is to bring olive trees and grow them there!!!
Anticipating she'd never grow above 5", I took her to defensive martial arts classes all the way through her childhood. I wanted her to have as much freedom as any man.
She's cute, but she'll embarrass you if you attack her.[/quote
Awwww!!! Being short in non-Mediterranean countries is always seen as some sort of disadvantage ...
Many many women 5" and under in the south!! I'm well under 5" and never had defensive martial art classes although they would have come in handy a couple of time, weirdly enough not with strangers in the street but much closer to home ...
It's great that your daughter has "don't mess with me" skills!!
Where I live in the mountains in the province of Málaga I'm not noticing any shortages. But then I live a rather simple life and use mostly local produce and mostly natural toiletries made by local artisans apart from coconut oil which isn't locally produced and I use for everything. I'm still putting together a small emergency pantry of foods, non perishable jars etc and things like flour which I keep in airtight containers.
The hike in electricity prices however is affecting many people. The bills have gone up by more than 300% Here again it's affecting me minimally as apart from my fridge, laptop and lighting which are on everyday, the rest I can choose to use during ''cheaper hourly rates''. Gas has gone up too but still affordable for now for cooking and hot water. So glad my cooker and water heater run on gas though. Because someone whose household is all electric needs a higher output contract which has gone up from about 25€ to about 87€ BEFORE consuming any electricity. I imagine their 150/200 usual bill is now around 450/600 euros a month
Something that shows you read my profile and that is engaging in some way. If your message reads like you could have sent it to a dozen orher women without changing a word (and it's not even witty) chances are I won't reply
RE: This-N-That…
Well I lived in England for 27 years (longer than in France and Spain) ...
