Well...I can see that many people get away with some really weird pics..for some reason?
As for me, when my pics are a bit too blurry, or too far, or whatever...
They delete them and send me a warning reminding me of the rules!

I agree entirely!
I still like writing letters to special friends on occasions. It's certainly more personal.
I do miss it though!
On a dating site people prefer to hide behind their keyboard.
As for WhatsApp texting, it's ok for short messages but certainly not for conversations.
Why not phone and hear the person's voice?

Something that I find rather "embarrassing " and off putting is...
When they start talking about their money, property/ies and assets.
For some "golddiggers" it might sound appealing but...not for me, I'm afraid.
The poorer they say they are (if it is true'?), the more comfortable I feel.
