RE: Face nappies, muzzles, submission and an end to job security

You should come to spain and see for yourself Bod?

We have Tesco here and 2 of the staff told me off for not covering my nose!.
And other supermarkets too, when I was checking out.

As for public transport, well...buses are running half empty because of the distancing and masks must be worn or they won't let you in!

Most people are taking it very seriously as they're either frightened of catching the virus...
Or getting fine!

And yet...we have the highest number of contagious in Europe!!confused

Now many regions, including Madrid, are back on lockdown again!grin

RE: Face nappies, muzzles, submission and an end to job security

It IS!!
They won't let you go in a shop without a mask on...covering your nose!scold

And you have to wear one also when taking your dog out.... in the country!!
Or you get a 100 euro fine! professor

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

Have just been watching the remake of "The day the earth stood still" with Keanu Reeves.
I enjoyed it a lot!

Also "'The day the earth stopped'", similar film and also enjoyable.

Both show some aliens coming in peace to give a message for humanity.
But...are we ever going to take notice and change our ways???uh oh

RE: Getting Back To Normal

Hmmm..I'm wondering also???
No more hugs...no more kiss-kiss or holding hands.

Romance and affection will be a thing of the past!

The brainwashing has already affected most of the population. uh oh

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

Hmmm...it all sounds interesting..for those who are still living in this 3rd D, a duality world..

But I know many will have moved in the 5thD by then...a NEUTRALITY world...no more good and bad, poor and rich , where we are all EQUALS angel

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

Yes, I remember Logan's Run...a long time ago..

What will happen in the next 300???

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

The film " EQUILIBRIUM" ( saw it 2 weeks ago) where all emotions and feelings are not allowed as well as books, art..etc..
And the punishment is the death penalty.

Think of the wearing of the masks hiding our faces and our smile...
As well as the distancing where socialising is not encouraged???
Or...we get punished with heavy fines! grin

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

Yes. "IN TIME'"
I wrote it on the above list as I saw it recently.

They could only live up to 25.
Another way to "reduce" the population.

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

YES..good film!

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

Yeah.. they do that, don't they? grin

Another good film is "Clara" ..beautiful! smitten

But, here again, it has been withdrawn in Europe.sigh
I can't even buy it!!

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

Yes, I know, because I did some research.
As for Tristan, he's about 20 now and an artist.

The sound was not very good that's why I missed some of the things he said.

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

Yes, I've seen most.thumbs up

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

I agree Dedo that everything is "pre-designed".

So..the messages, through those films, are a warning, hey?grin

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

French will do Sel.thumbs up

Btw..I've managed to watch the one with the orcas, which I had to pay for, but a bit difficult to understand the guy with no subtitles as he was Argentinean.

I wasn't quite sure about the end if the boy drowned or not...but I did some research as it is a true story.

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

Thanks Sel. Unfortunately, all those nice films you recommend, I cannot watch them here! sigh

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

Sorry Dedo, I didn't think of that one! laugh

Futuristic Films - An "Harbinger" of our Future?

Some Sci-Fi - Star Trek series, amongst others - in which, over the years, several features such as cell phones, automatic doors, and many others have been shown and then, several years later, appear in reality.

Did someone have a glimpse into the future to predict these things?idea pointing

There´s another side of this coin, because other films portray totally disastrous situations, happening worldwide and in the future, such as: “Manifest”, “The Hunger Games”, “The Thinning”, “Handmaid´s Tale”, “In Time”, "Equilibrium” and many more, predicting planet earth under the control of authoritarian governments and with the intent on reducing the population, and totally controlling those deemed fit to survive.

Should we regard this as pure entertainment?... Fear-mongering?.... or...
Someone giving us “Fair warning of their intent”? hmmm

NB. Many of those who see it as a Harbinger, stress the many mistakes humanity is making and continue to make.
So, the question is, will our self-destructive ways eventually lead to our demise? dunno hole

RE: What is wrong with people from Africa ?

laugh rolling on the floor laughing

RE: What is wrong with people from Africa ?

However...I have made a few friends with people in Africa, but those are people I've met on the blogs/forums and we got acquainted first.

I suggest that you do that first? Start interacting with the bloggers and write a few comments.
I'm sure you'll find people you can write to.dunno

RE: What is wrong with people from Africa ?

It is not unusual to block all the countries outside your own...regardless of the country.

Probably because people don't want long distance relationships. dunno

RE: Face nappies, muzzles, submission and an end to job security

"Some" stores?

Well, consider yourself lucky, as Here, it's EVERYWHERE!! ALL shops, outside in streets - including the distancing!!
24/7

RE: Pandemic

We still haven't recovered from the FIRST one!!

What we've been having since last June are SPIKES

RE: Who noticed...

Maybe you've got a point here?
Maybe it's the OP who decides (Dedo, Lee, Bacon)?uh oh

RE: The art of kindness

Lee, IMHO..if you're a kind person and perform acts of kindness and good deeds, there is no need to advertise for it!

We learn to do this WITHOUT ATTACHMENTS TO THE RESULTS.

Therefore, making a list of all the acts of kindness we have done during the course of our life would mean that we are still ATTACHED to it and giving it some energy.
