RE: Jealousy

Jealousy for me is an emotion that can totally destroy the person experiencing it.

It can be that the person experiencing it has lack of confidence. It can also be caused by siblings getting more attention than themselves, and they carry this emotion forward in to adulthood.

They may even be provoked by a partner who flirts .

It's not so much about improving oneself , more about taking control of ones thought patterns .J.M.O.handshake

Just goes to prove that magical moments are out there. I guess it's being in the right place at the right time.

Hoping it all works out for you but still come on to the forums if you can as your integrity and wit will be missed along with a sparkling personality. cheering

Unless you are actually in this situation it would be hard to give an honest opinion surely.

As for Philip Schofield I think it has been obvious for quite a while and most are asking why it took him so long..confused

RE: Where have all the "WOMEN" and a few Men, Gone??????

Morning Serene from a frosty U.K.wave

I've watched many come and go on this site for whatever reason and nothing will change as people are free to come and go as they please.

Some posters are just attention seeking so we have the choice whether to participate or ignore. I am 80 ,love the banter and the laughs and the ability to have my say on what I personally believe in whether accepted or not by other posters .I've grown a thick skin over the years

We are unlikely to ever meet any of these people so have no idea what is happening in their own lives and accept people on what they endeavour to put in words on the Forums etc. I guess this happens on many other sites too.

Take care.

RE: Dating…What happens…when most women…don’t get their own way?

You need to read back at some of your posts then as it sure reads like a rant.

Sorry I have to go and "control " my dog before I retire. Goodnight, sleep

RE: Dating…What happens…when most women…don’t get their own way?

I'd knock the word "charming" off your handle if I were you.rolling on the floor laughing Judging by what you have posted so far it doesn't suit you.

The few women that have replied to your rant have been subject to your attempting to try and control them so the subject you are desperately trying to impose on us females is on a hiding to nothing.

RE: Dating…What happens…when most women…don’t get their own way?

The thread subject is about women and the last time I looked I was one.

What gives you the right to decide what in your opinion most women are like . It takes two to form a relationship the last time I was in one before he passed away.

I've met plenty of controlling men in my time and seen what it has done to my friends and even their children.

RE: Movies you watched recently

The Windemere Children

A true story about 750 children rescued from Auschwitz and Belsen in 1945 .300 of them were brought to Windermere and it tells the harrowing story of their efforts to overcome the horrors of what they had seen and experienced and their integration into the British way of life.

The film was released to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Holocaustsad flower

RE: Global Warming

Just one of the many articles I have read on this subject.

RE: Global Warming

Unlike some pollution problems, global warming is essentially irreversible.

Nobody can predict exactly how climate change will play out – only that it’s likely to be much worse if there’s no effort to address carbon emissions.sigh
