May I say how nice it is to share views without the need for insults. So refreshing.
Control of the media has 2 main problems.
1. The billionaires who own them
2. Corporate advertising revenue which in some ways censor publication.
Our media system is deeply compromised. However there is some hope for the future as ideas not normally in the corporate media are increasingly being distributed through other channels – especially through the internet, alternative media and media co-operatives.
I'm sure you have noticed on the Forums many who would have us believe we are all Lefties and Socialists because we have a differing view on life in general. Sad that people feel the need to control others in this way don't you think.
Any intelligent person listening or reading media coverage is presumably fully aware that facts get twisted and contorted.
The press is all about money and what sells a paper and it's usually the heading that attracts . Same as T.V stations. The idea that people can be led like sheep down a particular path in my humble opinion smacks of posturing.
Assuming that not all people are idiots, as has been inferred by certain posters on this site , we make our own minds up about what we choose to believe as rhetoric or fact. In the same context I find posters on here just as irresponsible trying to thrust their own ideology down peoples throats .
Freedom of thought is as important as freedom of speech in my humble opinion.
Oh have you forgotten when he posted your CS. profile from 2012 as Tomcatwarne on the threads .Most people from the past knew anyway but that definitely spelled it out.
