If two people don't have the "spark", they're not sticking around for the long haul. The spark keeps things going while the loyalty and respect kicks in.
LC, You certainly are memorable when you speak of your preferences in regards to women and what a gentleman you are. Was cruising the blogs last night.......... Did you enjoy your "Invasion of the Body Snatchers?"
Too many ppl seem to think that children cannot understand or deal with some stress. If a situation is explained properly, kids will not only deal with things but surprise you with how mature they are. Of course the onus us in the parent(s) to explain issue A, tell the child how it could affect them and what will be done should something happen. The child knows what to expect in most situations. Should the parent(s) fail in their duty, the parent should be informed and suggest that their child is given help. In a normal life..... pre-covid ....... the parent should always have the teachers back. I can't imagine the stress they go through everyday dealing with 20-30 kids in a confined space. If a teacher or administer calls a parent , it's because the kid has done something or has had something done to them. There aren't enough hours in the day for a teacher to call for no reason.
But what I find even worse are the parents who would defend their litter come hell or high water! My kids were told from the day they started kindergarten that if I received a call saying they misbehaved in school, they were in big trouble. They knew I would listen to the teacher or principal first and that teachers had better things to do then to pick on the kids.
When 2 if my kids were in junior high, I got the calls. They both tried to bluff their way through their particular situation to no avail. I made them apologize, in a school assembly, so that everyone heard and to teach the lesson that if they want to buck the system, their mother will buck back. They have been the only 2 kids made to apologize in any way, ever, in that school.
